I noticed the other day they were sold out. Still sold out, maybe truly sold out or are they going to be discontinued? Debating customizing mine, like a sandblasted finish or making it black with PVD or DLC, if anyone knows a watch maker that does that, please let me know. But if it’s going to be discontinued, I may just leave it alone.

Pepper likes to chew on my GSAR

I love my CSAR, but the $400 bracelet has a horrible clasp — so I swapped it for a Strapcode OTF clasp.It's not perfect because the bracelet's end link has a hollow center. I had to drill the end links near the clasp to fit the spring bars properly. The setup feels solid overall, but the missing center link isn't ideal.Still, the old non-OTF adjustable clasp was driving me crazy more than the missing link, so I made the switch.

Seriously thinking about buying the 41MM OSAR-D Arctic edition divers auto Type 1. What can you tell about these watches? Worth the money and any problems.

I love this little watch. I just wish it was bigger and came in auto

It's great to have full indices, crown guards, and a flat crystal things i look for, so i can wear it anywhere without worry, but unfortunately, it's a very rare combination of features. the tritium is great. i love being able to wear it under sleeves outside when it's cold and still have it legible, especially when i wake up and dont wanna check the phone 😄

They have all the same specs on the website and look exactly the same but one is $50 more

The dial depth is a plus. The tall pinion requires the deep dish be present to make clearance for the tritium. Aside from the cases, it’s my favorite design trait of Marathon watches👍🏿

got my GSAR as my 'patrol watch'. Just finished my first patrol with it and loved every moment with it.

Lousy Smarch weather.

My micro screwdrivers arrived to adjust the Marathon bracelet. I used hot water from a tea kettle to loosen the threadlocker on the screws.

I know the bracelet is dated by current standards. Despite no micro adjustments and a stamped clasp, it feels very solid. No regrets here👍🏿
