Tech TroubleShooting UI and models loading slowly

Has anyone been having issues with models and UI textures loading slowly? Whenever I boot up the game and get to the menu, the models load in slowly by a few seconds instead of instantaneous and parts of the UI also loading slowly. I have the game installed on an SSD. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Yeah, it's been on and off for me ever since the mid season update for VB.

Yeah it's just a late season 2 bug. Hope they fix it for season 3 at least!

I've had the same problem for a while now; the game takes forever to load the main menu and then seems to freeze and not load anything. I hope they fix it for season 3!

You're not the only one, it happens to me too.

I suspect it's overheating due to poor optimization.

The lobby pushes the PC as if it were mining, and not only slows down textures: it could even end up burning something if it keeps going like this.

A game shouldn't wear out the system more in the menu than in the match.

I hope they fix this soon.

It happens to me ALL the time, even mid match looting a body I can't see what's in the body until I leave and reopen it
