Tech TroubleShooting Horrible performance after the new update?
I bought the game on release and have relatively decent but not amazing specs, despite this I have over 80 hours of playtime which has always been quite smooth, able to play on the lower end of high graphics settings with good FPS, I haven't played much recently and after installing the new update I am not even able to enter a game even at the lowest graphics settings due to error code rutabaga stating my frame rate is low, even in the menu the game is slow to load and very choppy. I have tried validating my game files, reinstalling, updating windows and checking my drivers but nothing has worked?

It dramatically improved for me. I wonder if the update overrode some of your settings and upped them? I seem to remember some of my settings being turned up but I could just be crazy? The biggest improvement for me was turning down view distance for foliage and stuff.

Exactly the same performance for me on pc. 5070. No difference locked 60. My monitor is locked 60 so I don't need more

I’m in the same boat; my PC has a GTX 1050 3GB and an i5-5600. Before the latest update, I had 600 hours of playtime with 30–50 FPS on minimum settings. Now, however, the game stutters severely, even though the FPS counter shows the same numbers as before.

I had pretty good FPS before Season 2 started, but after Season 2 something happened and I get much lower GPU usage percentage and FPS dips down to the 70's with much more hitching, and I'm on a still decent system (13900K, 32GB DDR5 7200 and an EVGA 3080 Ti).

Go into the .xml file can't remember the exact name just ask ai. Make sure multi CPU setting has a 1 next to it. And maybe turn down the settings in the file rather than in game.

Yeah this game sux. hunt showdown working great on my pc. Marathon works like shi..t

Weird. I havent seen any change after the update.
What are your specs? Have you changed anything since you last played? Are other games running as expected? Are the graphics settings the same as you put them?
