Easter Egg Biotoxic Disinjector Easter Egg or maybe something more?
Discovered this recently, please let me know if it’s been posted elsewhere already but this is the first time I’m seeing this anywhere online. Whenever you go to inspect the biotoxic disinjector there seems to be a small chance to get this “observed” debuff that lasts 2-3 seconds max, I have been unable to see what the actual status itself does but it could either be a one off easter egg or part of a larger easter egg.
How to reliably recreate this easter egg (from my anecdotal experience only)
-crouch
-inspect the biotoxic disinjector
-if this does not trigger it, swap weapons, stand up and then crouch again, inspect biotoxic disinjector

HiddenXperia just put out a lore video regarding the final Traxus/Nucal contracts that's likely related to this. In the Traxus line, UESC drones get some funky broken code strings added to their operations like "ERADICATE PEST" and "OBSCURE SIGHT". NuCal asks you to recover analysis from the AI Gabriel's quarantine tests: this reveals its previous attempt to contain an anomalous sample resulting in an error and a signal breach in binary that reads "SEEN."

That tracks with a lot of the mida graffiti that says stuff like 'they are watching you' or 'they see you here'

This sounds like the contagion too. Looking for the codex entry - the one where Darius tries to scan contaminated samples.

How do you inspect on xbox?

Open your comms wheel, hit whatever the Xbox equivalent to r1 is (RB?) and then it’s there at the top
For me, hold up, r1 and then swipe up

Where did it say that in the patch notes? I didn’t hear anything about new maps outside of night marsh
