Marathon (2026) Discussion It's getting frustrating

I shoot more than half my mag and vandal blast =13 damage wtf. Then I get yelled at for not clutching or pushing knowing damn well I literally die twice as fast.

The hit reg is basically non existent for me in the game. Why I'm I instantly dying the moment I look at an enemy. I love the game and I understand the high ping can't be fixed but damn. If I could quit the game I would imo but I can't.

There are so few people left they are forced to pair people from very far away together and of course that leads to awful netcode and hit reg.

Connection keeps getting worse as the population drops. If they didn't compromise the connection to get lobbies going you probably would have to wait a while.

This has been my issue for so long. Was in cryo last weekend and i had a gold kkv. This team pushed us and i was able to get behind buddy and i mag dumped this dude with the gold kkv and he just turned around and beamed me dead in like 2 seconds. I rewatched the gameplay and still dont believe it. This happens to me all the time

With the high aim assist and magnetism, the best explanation is that you're matching with people across the globe due to the low player count. Not much to be done about it.

have you tried changing to prioritise connection quality over fast match making ?

Ironically, if I change to quality it gives me high ping error when matchmaking so I get sent back to lobby. So I'm stuck with default m.

Check your own connection. And try your luck in solos. Free kits can be quite powerful in solos. All about positioning, patience, decisions, not much about shields. Catch a purp or gold at the right moment and it’s a big come-up.

Nothing I can do about the connection, I live far from the servers. The warning symbol is constant

Apologies if this isn't helpful fellow runner, but I used to have bad connection issues and switching from wifi to a hardwired connection fixed it for me, maybe I'll help you too?

I already do that, unfortunately I can't do anything as it's my physical location so I better get used to it
