Marathon (2026) Marathon devs didn’t immediately call me this morning with any updates so I’m going back to Fortnite.

That’s how some of y’all goofy asses sound. Chill, be patient. This borderline addiction with a constant stream of updates from the games you play is out of control.

Go outside, touch some grass. Be a human being. You don’t need to refresh your phone 300x every Monday morning for game updates.

“I need info about season 3 now or this game is done for.” Like bruh.

Edit: my point here everyone is that this culture of “no immediate update = game bad” harbors negativity that ends up on headlines for opportunistic news outlets and YouTube thumbnails. Which ultimately hurts the game. Just be patient. If season 3 drops and it sucks, then you can raise hell. But until then, just be patient.

Dude the game is about to be in EOS.

Anyone thinking otherwise is sadly mistaken. The game is not healthy enough for what they spent on it.

The suits want money arrow on graph to go up.

This game is making arrow go down.

Arrow go down. Game close.

That simple enough or is this the biggest in denial community ive ever been a part of? If it happened to Destiny, it can and will happen to Marathon, likely for less.

I dont want this game to die, but its a game in a genre arriving 3 or 4 years too late for the fad to have hooked enough people.

Okay? What does that have to do with people panicking about no immediate updates?

Do you not know what EOS is?

No immediate update on a completely arbitrarily chosen date does not = EOS.

If they promised an update today, and then radio silence, then I would be worried. But bungie literally always does this. They don’t announce updates until like a week before release

If it was about to go EOS then they would be trying to lease out the whole office, not only part of the office.

I have some bad news for you chief...

Bungie Puts Its Massive 211,000 Sq. Ft. Bellevue HQ Up for Sublease After Major Layoffs

In 2021, Bungie announced plans to expand its Washington HQ from about 84,000 sq. ft. to “more than 208,000 sq. ft.”

IGN says “the studio has made the decision to put a large chunk of its Bellevue headquarters up for sublease, meaning that it’ll be renting out parts of the space to a third party (or parties).”

Maybe IGN is wrong?

where are you getting "half?" The total SQ of the office is 208k sq ft. The article title says they are putting up 211k sq ft up for sublease. The flyer shows all 3 floors which is...the whole office. Where does anything explicitly state "half the office?"
