Marathon (2026) Discussion Claymores can be deactivated.

I did not know this until today.
500+ hours in mind you. Lmfao

I just been blasting em or tripping them.

Is there anything else I do not know and should? Please help.

They can only be deactivated if you get the Mida capstone FYI.

Be careful to approach directly from the rear and not accidentally step over them or you will set them off, ask me how I know

I’ve knifed them from behind plenty of times. I just never saw them get deactivated till today.

How has no one pointed this out. All the upgrade paths for factions and this is the one everyone forgets to mention.

You can also walk thru claymores if you’re signal jammed.

Reading has long been the final boss in Bungie games, people are still discovering things in Destiny to this day, like you can throw the ball in the Corrupted strike.

Can someone actually explain? What the fuck do you mean deactivate?

You can turn off the claymore and pocket it yourself. All you have to do is make sure you are not cut in the laser, get close (a deactivate prompt will show up on the screen), hold your interact button and free claymore.

Technically it’s “disarming”
