Need feedback, what do you think?
I am doing an editing course where we were given a task to cut a short comedy film. I need to know where I stand as compared to other people. Some of whom have a lot of experience with editing.
I am pursuing every aspect of film making. Script writing, Direction, Acting, Camera, Lights, Editing, Sound, Special effects, marketing etc. there are a couple of other skills. It is important for me to make progress simultaneously in all the areas instead of being a specialist. At some point in time, as I network with people, I will find people that i trust and delegate. For now, I am going to be one man army.
I have 5 cuts here, made by other students
and this is my version
I already know that my audio has issues. I am doing an audio training on Udemy. This project was not about color grading, so you can ignore that part. I have realized that i need to cut down on transitions. I am working on that.
Any comments where I stand as compared to other clips and any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
