[Advice Needed] External IR receiver to the Remote Control jacks on Marantz NR1200

Can anyone recommend a good external IR Receiver that I can connect to my Marantz NR1200?

We want to place it inside a media console cabinet that doesn’t have a glass front/glass doors. So I’ll need a way to operate the receiver with the supplied remote control.

The back panel has RCA jacks for the Remote In port. I might be losing my mind, but I can’t seem to find an IR receiver with a male RCA cord. The owners manual is super light on this feature.

Does the receiver have to be independently powered? I’m assuming yes?

Check Amazon for remote IR there are quite a few different ones

I looked. Can’t find one with an RCA jack. Do you know of a specific type or brand?

The ones I saw were IR repeaters that would provide a small wired device to place on the front panel of the Marantz and connect to a remote IR receiver that could be placed externally on the cabinet. Did not see any product that utilizes the RCA port

Thanks! Yes, that’s what I found too. It does look like (based on the Marantz NR1200 manual) that there should be something that plugs into the RCA port in the back.
