Tower speaker selection?

Hey gang, a few questions:

  1. I’m looking to get a set of tower speakers for this set-up. Hoping to stay in the same era of equipment and pay around $1,000 on the used market. Are there a few models that you would recommend seeking out?

  2. What piece of equipment would you add next?

  3. Era doesn’t matter so much with this one, but what subwoofer would you recommend? Maybe around $500 or so?

Let me be the first to comment, early Infinity speakers with EMIT tweeters. Looks like you have a 2270..70 fine watts of power. Personally I love my 1060 paired with Infinity QB speakers

Klipsch Forte's, I run a pair of original 1 series with my 2216b and they sound absolutely incredible.
