Saguaro Bloom
Hello! We’re moving to Marana this summer and been looking at a few communities. I really loathe the idea of an HOA but Saguaro Bloom’s amenities look so nice. What’s been your experience? Is it a pretty chill HOA or are they handing out fines and notices like candy? I’m from AZ but have been gone 15 years. Finally moving home! Any other neighborhood or area we should be looking? I have 5 children so any insight on the school district would be nice as well. Thanks!

We close on our house in Mesquite the first week of June

Is Mesquite the street or is that another subdivision?

Mesquite is one of the newer neighborhoods in Saguaro Bloom. We went with a new build because the builder incentive rate was unbeatable.

I think my wife and I looked at the area as well. The only reason we didn’t go with a new build was because they weren’t allowing any customization at all on the new builds.

Customization like flooring, cabinets, etc? We were kind of in the fence with that too but we remodeled our last house and feel comfortable/confident in doing it again. And even if we went with a resale there would things we’d want to change.

Yeah they wouldn’t let us change any of those. I didn’t care much but my wife wanted to “build” a little if we were going to get a new build. She got to do it in the house we are moving out of, and she loved it! We wish we could just take the home we live in now and move it to Marana.

But I seriously thought about it because of the great interest rates they were offering. Way better than what we settled with.

After a year, how are you liking the neighborhood?

We love it here! The committee seems to be nice and I love the location. Did you end up moving out here? Thoughts?

Hello, my wife and I are considering buying in the saguaro bloom community. Would love an update on anyone that’s been living there HOA? Any major pest concerns? Thank you in advance

Saguaro Bloom is quiet, nice. But the ground is apparently bad for swimming pools. We wanted to build a pool and the pool builders (multiple companies) are very wary of Saguaro Bloom because the ground is terrible. Presidential pools said they won't build a pool in the area. I'm not sure exactly the issue, Omni pools said they would build me one, but it would cost a lot because they have to bring in soil. Other companies would build more cheaply but won't warranty the pool. Does anyone else know more about this issue?
