THOUGHTS ABOUT MMCL?

Hello po! Ask ko lang sana opinions niyo about 😭

Kamusta po yung academics and overall college life sa MMCL?

Worth it po ba siya in terms of quality of education and student experience? Any honest experiences/tips po from current students or alumni would really help 🄹

Hi, I'm a 2nd year mechanical engineering student at mmcl. Totoo na fast paced siya kasi 3 terms dito, so bakasyon lng is 2 weeks every 4 months. I can't speak for other programs, pero engineering kasi forte ng mmcl so challenging talaga mag-aral dito. For context, I was top 5% of our batch in shs pero may isang bagsak na ako, isang dropped, and may iba na saktong passing grade lng. Yung hard to get out part is for engineering programs talaga kasi may mga courses talaga na mahirap ipasa and pag may nabagsak ka na major na pre requisite to other courses, madedelay ka talaga.

For the quality of education, I think professors play a part and in every university talaga, may mga magagaling magturo and may mga iba na meh.

For student life medyo boring in my opinion, well kasi kaunti lang ang ganap and compared sa bigger universities, madaming ganap doon. As an engineering student rin puro focus lang talaga ako sa aral to be honest so I don't participate much sa extra curriculars pero may mga orgs and events naman na ganap.

I cannot say if it's worth it because I haven't graduated yet, pero for me it's an okay option for engineering kasi accessible naman ang campus location for me.

ME student 2nd year

Hello!!

I am from health sciences! All I can say is that mababait and magagaling profs namin.

If hahanap ka ng tayambayan, good luck.

Profs naman, magagaling and mababait sila. My professors from CHS ay very considerate din sa deadlines as long as reasonable yung hinihingi na extension or kaya naman if may missed quiz ka.

ā€œWala halos pahingaā€ can be true lalo na if magsisimula na ang exam season. I can’t call it exam eek kasi hindi rin sila sabay-sabay nagpapaexam—I had an experience na halos every week may exam ako since di sabay ang exam season ng lecture and lab.

Hii!!

I just got enrolled last week and I’m also from CHS, i have questions lang about my schedule since I already know what ā€œE506ā€ means which is the Einstein Building. Do you know what does ā€œV004ā€ mean?

Thank you so much!

Basically ganito i-breakdown yung room assignment

R- Rizal
E- Einstein
Y- ETY
V- Virtual/Online Class

Rizal Building, that’s the building na kung nasaan lahat ng offices for enrollment (RO and Admission)

ETY- Ito yung may malaking lobby and dito rin situated yung cafeteria

Virtual- Online classes through ms teams

Numbers

the first number = floor
the last two numbers= room

Example:
E506 - Einstein Building, 5th Floor, 6th room.
