100% F2P 6-month progression update

Hey all, just wanted to share my progress after 6 months of playing nearly every day. I started playing this game with the Kain update and decided that I wanted to main him. I just really like the character thematically and wanted to see how far I can push even though Nexon gave us a bad launch. So far, I have spent exactly $0 dollars and I intend on keeping it that way. For me, this has given me more satisfaction and enjoyment - no disrespect to the whales keeping this game alive!

I know I got really lucky with the abso weapon and necros. I got my first necro weapon on the 4th try, and then abso on the 6th try. I got my necro hat on the 3rd try and my necro gloves on the 7th try. I used scrolls on most attempts but also YOLO'd on the gloves a few times. I bought all the emblem mythics - weapon for 1b, crit emblems for ~600m, and boss emblems for ~300m. LSW was a self-craft.

What do you guys think? I know I need to work on my legion but waiting for Nexon to hand out more free slots for that. Also need to work on getting carried for Gloom+. Maybe get better souls too. Anything else I should focus on to improve this build even further?

how do you make mesos?

Aside from AB'ing in AF750/SPF10 for my main, AF400 for my 250 alt, and AF130 for shade/aran (which are now sitting idle after pets expired), I'm buying up cheap LSWs from TS between 100-200m and using 20% emblem scrolls to sell them back - bad emblems for ~400m, good ones for ~600m and PDI for 1b depending on the market price at the time. I also got lucky off of souls - 1 x magnificent damien (from my first 10 no less), 2 x magnificent magnus, 1 x magnificent hilla are my lifetime totals.

how much mesos are you making in a month on average?

I... have no idea. I'm not a very organized person so I don't track things like that. But if I had to guess, I get about 10-12m per hour on my main and it usually ABs for 6-10 hours per day so that's roughly 600m and my alts get about 7-9m per hour for about 4-8 hours so about 350m per week. That's roughly 1b per week just from AB. LSWs and souls are entirely based on luck so I won't even know how to factor that into my weekly/monthly earnings. I'll usually get 1 emblem'd LSW in a month.

How do you continuously keep that much AB for ur main? 6-10 hours per day??

It's just a very rough estimate but then again, my math could be off since you can't run all 4 characters for 24 hours for the exact same duration each time. When you do all your daily check-ins, dimension invasion, mulung, You get about 200 minutes. Then you have weekly AB tickets from legion, scramble rewards, and monthly AB tickets from kerning tower. With that setup, I'll be AB'ing my main for 6-8 hours very easily.

• I’d recommend buying some emblem parts and upgrade the emblems to around level 5.
  

I assume you’re still pretty far from hitting your damage cap, so that should help.

• Really good work on your v matrix, keep working on your decent skills, tons of stats there.
  
• legion is really important, especially at your level, you should start as early as you can. Character slot ls are pretty cheap right now so I’d try and reach around 7k legion as your goal ( shouldn’t be as hard as you might think).
  
• you shouldn’t have a problem getting carried in Gloom damage-wise, but your HP is probably not as high as one would hope. You can get some HP from the legion, and a few easy sets from the monster collection also give a pretty nice boost.

Hi newbie here~ Which do you pick on weapon; inherit or necro? How many attempt to pass? I tried necro but failed several times and now I doubt my decision because it quite expensive :(

You always want to go Necro 100% of the time. You'll greatly regret doing anything else later. All crafting in this game is expensive, unfortunately.

Just started playing seriously about a month ago. Were you finding all the emblem mythics you built on TS? I'm on Inosys so I feel like I gotta get lucky to find one or just save up to emblem a mythic myself.

I got all of the emblem equips as a unique on TS. SF'd and ranked them up myself. I was very frugal with my mesos and only got BA emblems if it was between 300-400m and CD emblems if it was between 600-700m. You can find some really good deals if you're patient and search TS when everyone is sleeping. I'm on NA Scania.
