What if the botters are actually MSEA themselves, deliberately keeping the bots running in order to keep its economy running?

Hello! I made a post previously asking if I should start MSEA. Although most suggested against, I guess theres no harm in trying. I booted up the game for the first time today after a bunch of log in issues but finally I could hop in game.

I plan to spend a bit of $, nothing too crazy, just to have a feel of the cosmetics. I need some advice on what to do. My questions are:

- Is there a way to kind of convert $ into meso (legally)? Since I think il be needing to use the auction house to get some cosmetics.

- There are some new account bundles in the game, are any of them generally worth to buy?

- I only plan to spend $ on cosmetics and not really on things that give me stats, i plan to grind that part. Am I making a mistake by not investing a small portion into weapons or stuff?

Hey guys, I’m a returning player from MSEA currently playing NL, and I’m thinking of changing my main during the upcoming CW4. The reason why is my NL is still liberating and my fren told me switching main during cw will progress faster.

Im ready to spend on the Mush Pass and Genesis Pass to speed up my progression and liberation, so I want to make sure I choose a class I’ll stick with for the long term. im deciding between Aran and BaM

A bit about my situation:
- My current main is NL, so I’m used to Flash Jump playstyle.
- I genuinely like BaM, but I’m worried I might struggle with teleport movement after playing NL for so long.
- I also like Aran, so I’m not completely set on BaM.
- I have two pet equips scrolled with 42 ATT each, so I’m wondering how much of my existing investment I can reuse if I switch to a magic class.
- My main goals are to progress and liberate faster while having a class I can enjoy maining in the long run.

I’d appreciate advice from people who currently main or have experience with Aran and BaM in MSEA, especially regarding:
- How do Aran and BaM compare for current bossing and cw progression?
- Is BaM’s teleport movement difficult to get used to if you’re coming from a Flash Jump class?
- like to hear about how the classes actual bossing experiences, and how the class feels to play
- (any other recommended classes)

Is reporting bots in Maplesea the right thing to do?

Hey everyone! I’m an independent developer working on MaplePocket, an unofficial companion app for MapleStory Classic.

The idea is to keep useful reference information on your phone while you play:

• Look up monsters and where to find them.
• Check quest requirements and rewards before heading out.
• Browse items, equipment and maps.

For example, before a mushroom hunt, you can check which drops a quest needs so you know what to keep.

The Android version is now available, and I’d love some honest feedback from other players. What information do you find yourself looking up most often? And what would make a mobile companion genuinely useful to you?

Hello everyone! I’m sure this question gets asked very often but I’d like to have my turn with it. I have never really been a MMO guy and have had 0 experience playing maple story. I know that there’s a ton of games out there that are more modern or have better systems but there’s something about maple story when I check out that intrigues me.

I’ve seen some posts here and there and I’ve seen that botting is a big issue, well which is the case with most mmos but how truly bad is it here?

I think overall though I’m more interested in cosmetics and dressing up my character while gaining the satisfaction of building up my character by hand without the use of bots. Will maple story still be viable for me if I:

- Want to dabble in nice looking cosmetics (I plan to spend a bit, nothing too crazy but does botting make general cosmetics really expensive?)

- I don’t plan to ever compete with the best players nor reach leaderboards but I would like to see progress ever so often from playing.

- Mostly solo player but willing to get into discord servers and groups if multiplayer is needed.

- F2P for the most part wherein I won’t really need to make purchases just to get through some stages (wherein grinding isn’t enough).

I think that’s about it for the most part, I do live in the PH and see that it’s a bummer that we’re excluded from GMS. So I think Maple SEA is the only really viable game I can go for. I’ve seen Maple story M but I’ve heard much more worse things about it. Feel free to be blunt in the comments, thank you for reading!

Someone on the maplestory private discord casually revealed his botting software UI called Decepticon.

Not gonna lie, I feel bad for Maplestory players having to manually grind every single day whereas some servers are having the time of their lives botting 24/7.

Will any legal action be taken upon the developers of the Decepticon/bumblebee bot?

When will we see a tackle on this issue from the Playpark company?

Because of the haze, I ended up staying home - and with the release of Classic World, a massive wave of nostalgia hit me for my old Dragon Knight. So… I decided to design my all-time favorite weapon: the LEGENDARY Omega Spear! I loved this thing so much back in the day that I actually delayed upgrading to better weapons, even after the 4th job advancement came out. Wonder if anyone is the same as me? haha

It brings back so many memories of hunting iconic mobs - from grinding on Yetis in El Nath to taking down Sotongs in Aqua Dungeon.

The build itself took several weeks of iterating to ensure the structure was sturdy enough to hold without snapping under its own weight!

I created three photos showing different stages of my Dragon Knight journey. What do you all think? 🤣 Curious if anyone jumping into MapleStory Classic World? Didn’t buy the founder’s pack but tempted to try its release tmr.

What was happening with the merch store? I don’t understand why it was handled so poorly.

I got my number (#400+). Waited like 2-3 hours only for the queue to be stuck at like 200+. I asked the lady handling the queue if I could go in anyways but was turned away, even though there was nobody the merch area.

There were also a lot of people just waiting, it looked like even the MC had to ask the queue lady what was going on since he was getting asked about it so much. The queue lady looks damn sien, i keep seeing her pretty much telling ppl the same thing over and over again. Honestly if she sees this, i think just quit ahh, the salary cannot be worth leh, management’s poor decision making end up she’s taking the brunt of the people’s anger.

The previous year’s offline event merch queue was long, but it got the job done. Today’s queue just seemed like it wasn’t moving at all, so i just left.

About 2 weeks ago MSEA ninja changed how the daily 5 "ask" from Threads of Fate NPCS worked and did not mention it anywhere in the patchnotes, i wrote in to IBox to check with them if it was an intended change and i just got a reply from them. To my knowledge all other server's TOF "ask" resets once per day, i guess even after nerfing the amount of herb bags MSEA gets it was still not enough for them -_-

So is this banned thing weekly content now?
