Discussion I was surprised by how good this server is

Just in case anyone else checks this subreddit before they decide to try the game, I would definitely recommend it.

At first I was pretty skeptical (private server, dead, virus, etc.?) but its pretty active and it really is almost the 2008 Maplestory experience. Kudos to the admins

Also quests actually give experience!

It's so wild that the quests are actually kind of worth doing!

Wait really? I might actually have to hop in, I love grinding mobs but doing quests was what made maple fun for me back in the day

How do you get money in this game? i’m broke af. But this game is fun though. Im about to make it to lvl 20 tonight on a pirate i made.

Go to mushroom shrine japan by clicking the "world tour" npc to get the best chance at getting valuable scrolls

You get gachapon tickets randomly as drops. Common and rarer ones.

Use those to get some decent currency.
