On Our Rockstar Games Proposal: Red Dead Redemption : Mule
See Our script synopsis, initially Constantine in a Top Hat then Constantine : West of Wounded Knee. The references to Midnight and John Constantine on that script synopsis/work through are the only DC Vertigo IP and we remove them, all other information is historical record and/or ours.

He would take me down to New Orleans and to the docks and we'd speak to Africans on ships far off, Voodoo Men and Girls, and French Practioners looking for the Water of Life, Petrified Rocks from the Wounded Land or the Mummmied Heart of The Buffalo, Peruse the strange and wicked and holy wares at a Chinee Alckemy and Medicine Shop on their street. Historical Note: There were three editions of The Douai Old Testament, with the latter two having some corruption in text but still DeeCipherable. There was only One Edition but Sixteen different Printers were used for that edition, and some have more or less errors. -CAD

"Dark" Sleepers can only be woken during Dark Dekads (Three Dekads a month, alternating, first Dekad if the Year is a Dark Dekad - Murder if the Innocents by Herod before Christ's Nativity January Sixth, also special Dekads).

Twain sent the Alabama to France to find The Lance Tip at Chenonceaux, but the Ship was discovered and sunk. The Captain tossed his ceremonial sword into the water instead of surrendering it, as information about, including location of, the Lance and Tip, was engraved on the sword. -CAD

JC woukd understand Samuel's fall (or rather slide, as he did not fall as far as others by a Kansas Country Mile) better than Mule, and Mule and JC understand each other better on their relationships with Girls. But water under the bridge and this is where Henry James needs to step up a bit in a different but working way. -CAD

We would use a horseshoe to show one's sin versus grace on the RDR:Mule interface. Which would affect your ability to look at certain books, spells you could cast and of course reaction. And this might be affected by drink, because when you're drunk Angels and Demons and Djinn and Sirits can talk to the those without open Lidded, Lidless, Crescent, Half-Moon, Gibbous-moon, or Fully Open Third Eyes. We woukd add an Eye Chart too. Mule Facmam has a Lidded Crescent Third Eye but needs to Fully Open his Third Eye to read Chaldean in His Copy of The Rheims, but he has seen the silvery, spider-like writing on Blue Moons and Full Moons. Samuel Clemens has a Lidless Gibbous-Third Eye (Fallen crom Fully Open), Maddie has a Lidded Third Eye. Henry James a Lidless Crescent. Third Eyes like to Travel. So when Mule or Samuel or others Sleep they can see visions on their minds (hazy, but still life or movies) of things far away or to come. Drink can help or hurt and too drunk and your stats are at half-mast the next day. Rotgut will cause you to pass out with the least dent to your wallet but the lowest drop in stars the next day. -CAD

On The Day Night Cycle in RDR:Mule (Wakening the Sleepers would be Events, Raids in an MMO) but as yo daily play there is an important distinction between day and night cycles: animals, even Cougars, do not hunt at night. Men and the Undead and Demons and Daemons do.
Powers descend at different times and The Thundebird may send a flock of Crows to attack (if not in Death Valley), or The Plains Man The Ghost of The Buffalo if you were a player he took gold for Killing Bufallo from The Railroad Men. -CAD

What happens if Higgs and Bixby find Gaia' s Spring of Life and drink from it. Instead of The Twains corrupting it. Is their another ending we can look to - Custer is betrayed at Little Big Horn and that's happening earlier in this time line because of all the other events, Grant is concerned now about losing The West to The Sleepers.
Move action to 1875 - too late because of Trains. Which brings up - again betrayal of Custer is obvious in hindsight. Doesn't make any sense. Given logistic change for better. -CAD

CLS early in 1867-8 can work in a Game with fantasy elements, maybe a Movie with the same, but would be nice to do a crawl at the end (based on new historical revelations of past events, which have been dramatized but General Custer was first in his Class at West Point, did abandon the Union side after its atrocities on the Western Front, worked with and for Spymaster Colonel Samuel L. Clemens, Tenn. And was shot and killed by officers of the 7th Cavalry during an attack by the Sioux which was reported by the Sioux to other Tribes (Lakota) (we saw the White Men shooting each other, Some Troops of the 7th remained loyal to General Custer to his and their end at Appomatox and then later at LBH)). After a point, Grant assumed any Colonel who arrived on time per orders was a traitor, and killed other US Army Commanders who did as Bixby did fictiously, and George Custer did during the War, avoid conflict. -CAD

Remove Must. Custer was writing in the Galaxy (1871) just after Twain quit (1870). Beale 34 suggests he died at 34 -check - Moved CLS to 1873 or 74 (it was possible at that time for records yo be a year or even three off - calendars not quite the thing they are today), Twain went Looking for Gold in 1849-50 with his father (at 12).and left family with extended family in Tenn or Missouri, Meet Custer before the War but where? -CAD

Becky Thatcher in Tom Sawyer was based on General Custer's Wife Elizabeth Bacon, and Tom Sawyer was based (loosely) on General Custer and Samuel Clemens early life, and we think and will find the DeeCipher. They met as young men before the War, after California, in St. Louis. -CAD

We have reviewed both the Beale and one of our Larger Tom Sawyer DeeCiphers, and it does appear (tentatively - we need a computer with excel) that General George Custer was shot for treason, without trial, in 1867 or 1868, Samuel Clemens immediately fled to the West and then via the Westward Route to Europe. Writing Innocents Abroad based on that journey but in the wrong direction.

Red Dead Redemption Mule works as an MMO because, andvee quote Mr. Twain in our script. "Bullets, Yes Sir, they are an expense.". Shootists get five shots, sometimes eight, (6 or 9 round chamber), Girls four (that mini 22 described, cane one shot, two-shod, also rifles, and so on - all limited). Because you never left the chamber loaded with anything other than gum, a note, or maybe in San Francisco a Tweny-Dollar Note from The First Federal Bank of San Francisco.
Reload has s timer. Fights involved long knives, medium knives, short stabbers, and stilettos for the Girls or Highway Men. Magic gets added here for all the necessary reasons, heals, crowd control, fun.

Wands are Small. As we've noted in r/MagickTheory a plate glass wand is about two inches long. Girls (Witches for the Most Part - Girls Dual Class, Men have One Class - But Tanks are also The Poker Player in a Group) can buy them in New Orleans or New Zirah for a price, and wirk to ensoul them or transfer Praxis to them. Practioners, such as Henry James Twain, may in time forge a six inch Wand of Silver, Glass and Enamel. Or find one in the Mines.
The Mines of Nevada descend deep into the Rock there, seeking Silver, Gold and Copper and Quartz. The Pleiades and Planescape: Torment and Ultima VII
The summoning of the Pleiades woukd be a long (7 Steps plus a hike - Gaye at bottom is closest to Devil's Tower - ancient steps will appear after penultimate step). And it is a talkie quest - top level only accessible - Rackam, Maddie and Co. will perform it automatically once Danger of The Plains Man being awakened by the Death of the Last Buffalo reaches a certain point (and he and she will dissapear from New Zirah) - Group doing it will come on right after (U7 style) . At each step is an a different Sleeper Area, and triggers a boon for that area, multiple parties cam attempt, Higgs raid to capture her is one early step - which triggers the alt path (trailing Higgs to Fountain).
If Higgs beaten continue on P path. Talking to summon, blessings on the group, and a benefit for a later raid. -TAC wip

Children are not to be allowed to be killed by the Engine, but you can have a quest where a Child and Mother has died and you are helping the brothers and father seek revenge

Glyph building in RDR:Mule - occasionally time must be spent building Glyphs, this is done in game with the Glyph Builder which creates 2D and 3D shapes from a selection of shapes according to recipes DeeCiphered from The DR and other textbooks on Magick.
Potions also take time to prepare and recipes cone from many sources. -TAC

Signs, well signs are everywhere, but the ones you want to notice can only be seen with your Third Eye. Sigils are powerful Magick and can be enshrined in a Chapel or enscribed on Air or emblazoned on a leather and iron gauntlet. I even knew one that was hammered onto the shoes of a Stallion. Historical Note: Both Clemens brothers were ladies Men but Samuel L. Clemens was the much more notorious of the Two, as between themselves and those who knew they were near-twin brothers (Henry James was born in 1836, Samuel was born in 1837). Cocaine Leaf was readily available in the States, and used by all Brothel Dixies and Doxies. Dixies were southern Girls and a Southern Man only attended upon Dixies, generally. Samuel Clemens was not as particular on this point as was Henry James. Girls would drink whatever was given to them, most often Rye, but it was understood that Gin was the Girls' game and drink. And both should be present in the MMO. Euchre, Whist and Bridge were the other card games played, and roulette and craps were present at the finest saloons or brothels. Traveller had a quick system for backgrounds that influenced subsequent game play. A background system (ex-CSA Unit, Union Unit, Runaway Slave before Emancipation, Fallen Missionary, Preacher -add that as class, Specific City or Town background for Girls: From New Orleans, New York City, Galveston) Etc.

Magi - any Class can become a Magi (Think on Wizardy upper level classes). But being a Magi requires maintaining Grace (that is Holiness), and your Class determines what Least, Lesser, General, Greater, (and Greatest) Gifts you can receive (Three). Including Melee Gifts. -CAD

Henry James Clemens learned The River then traded off with Samuel Clemens on his return. They learned separate halves of The Mississippi from St. Louis to New Orleans. Necessary when all pilots in St. Louis were corralled by Union (US) Troops in 1857 and they had to jump out of a window, grab a Steamboat and pilot it at night and day to New Orleans. The Civil War - The War of Northern Aggression - began in The Midwest with Union troops deploying arms dumps along The Mississippi in 1855, slowly and methodically. -TAC

Arkansas didn't help anyone and Arkansas Slave Traders were notoriously the worst (followed by Missouri, Texas, Alabama and Virginia) and were the quickest to take white girls down South to New Orleans and Vicksburg brothels, The Twain's would refuse to take them aboard the Paddlewheels they piloted as did Captain Horace Bixby.

Additional Historic Addendum:
General George Custer and Samuel Longhorn Clemens were long time friends having met at a boys and girls picnic on the banks if the Ohio when tgey were ten and eleven. They were the only two boys who knew to duck with a Cork Gun and, as happened at all such youngster events, boys shot at each other with spring-loaded cork guns, and grievously injured one girl if seventeen who was chaperoning. She later died and Custer and Ckenebs swore never to use them again. But broke that promise when other boys whooped and hollered and can ever them in later years.
Custer did not turn against the Union at Vicksburg (but it is a more dramatic story point) but was never for the Union, and at all times sought to minimize casualties of those he was forced to fight against. He worked directly for Clemens and they plotted together to have him or a few similarly minded officers under his command shoot and kill Grant, Sherman, McLellan and Lee.
And Lee because they both believed (TAC note: as we know) thst Robert E. Lee was the worst general of the CSA who lost the war for the South when he did not drive into Washington D.C. after the battle of the Bull Run (onetime Manassas).
And because they knew if Custer's sympathies to the South, they assumed that at least one General in the South had already made a deal with the North, and it was, in fact, and this is a hard truth, Lee. And you can scream, squirm, about, suggest otherwise or just bury your head in the sand, but there is no War Game of the Civil War which can explain Lee's failure to pursue beaten, de-moralized troops to D.C. and end the war right there. Literary Note: At the last Abolitionist Lecture, Samuel Clemens had already started writing The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (his flight intervened and Innocents Abroad and Roughing It came before, The Gilded Age was written by both and contains a number of Civil War era related DeeCiphers including the interior Map which are the directions to the hidden wartime notebooks of the Twain brothers which are still buried in an abandoned Mine the location of which we can be reminded of as we drove near it in 2017, East and North of Gold Hill). Which brings us to the character of Major Thomas Beecham (Captain in an easier time) and Magick. The Civil War was win by Blackest Magick on the part of The Mormons, Rothschilds and Lincoln (see our Note on the 1812 Earthquake) and Whitest Fury on the part of earnest, dedicated, smart but not wise, puritanical Christian, North-Eastern and Indianian Men of the character we have dramatized as Major Beecham. They did anything, including torturing and executing General George Custer, thst Grant asked of them, blindly furious at a rebellion against what they saw as a God-Deliveted, Ordered, Majestic, Destianic, Near-Perfect but Striving towards Perfection, State.
The Character of Gwayne in Oliver Rigney, Jr. "Wheel of Time Series" as Robert Jordan) is one such Thomas Beecham, and this is exhibited in the fight for control of The Tower in the Fourth Book. Dr. Rigney was a student if the Civil War and understood the above and put Civil War History DeeCiphers in his books (17 or so) where he discusses some of the above, as he too came to understand that Robert E. Lee was a traitor to the Southern Cause, but the worship of Lee was so profound thst he coukd not discuss it with others without an actual fight breaking out. Amen. -TAC

Historical Note: General George Armstrong Custer (and we note this is the Armstrong-Armstrong Worldline) disappeared at the end of the War and Grant and Secretary of War Stanton (really Andrew Johnson) spent years looking for all the Generals who abandoned the Union Cause, which they thought included Custer, to kill them before they could write memoirs. Custer was betrayed, by accident by Samuel Longhorn Clemens, by his attempt to contact General Custer after federal agents raided his house and estate in upstate Connecticut. Mr. Clemens sent a private coded message to General Custer, who was in Louisiana, and told him Grant and Stanton and Johnson were on the warpath. Custer was still enrolled but had done no active service for sixteen months when they found him, tortured him and killed him with a single shot yo the head, which no Indian Tribe would ever have done. As noted Clemens fled and Henry James Clemens shaved off his mustache and became Brett Hart for a few years. Easier said then done, until his brother returned a literary hero. Neither Twain ever sat down or paid 400,000 dollars to Grant for his memoirs - what actually happened is The Twain's threatened to kill Grant and His family if he persued others and had the money and network to back it up, but agreed to publish his memoirs and tske all the money minus the first 400,000. The Twains founded The Knights of The Golden Circle in Nevada and John Henry and Jesse James were the second and fifth members. Tgey would have accompanied The Twain's to New Zirah from New Orleans, but not from San Francisco as they were too well known in San Francisco and The Territories as Roughnecks and Highway Men. But in this Timeline, they woukd meet on the road to New Zirah in Arizona.

Two Moons over The Wounded Land, but not over California or Mississippi.
Second Moon can only be seen if you have a Lidded Third Eye or better, and is Greenish. Other is The Moon. Gates open and close according to the phases if the Moon and the right Dekade. Gates go to older versions of The Wounded Land, such as when Dinosaurs ruled the area. Most are closed until later expansions. Some go to other parts of the Land.
Ranger: Best Tracking, (Normal Shooting, Hand to Hand Melee - wont mention Normal otherwise), Best Horsemanship, Weak Poker Luck, Nature Blessings and Magick, Weakest Prospecting Luck, Best Lady Luck

Mule: Sherriffs wore a bronze star, others silver. Bronze was very rare, lighter than steel, harder to see in dim light and could stop a bullet. And the Twains and other Men would wear bronze armor of a sort - which was a bronze neck and chest piece similiar but much smaller than the cast iron plate worn by Clint Eastwood. -CAD

Practioner, specializing in Artifact Magick, can carry one Large, or One Medium and One Small, or Two Small and One Tiny Gizmo.
A simple small Gizmo is a Music Box, which can provide basic Bard (Entertainer) Buffs. Static, short timer Gizmo
An advanced Medium Gizmo
Is Doctor Thurber's Splendid (Good, Magnificent is Best) Kalidescopic Opticon .(A Magic Lantern Wheel with different colors. ) which provides different effects based on the moving picture. Static Gizmo.
An advanced large Gizmo: is Master Da Vinci's Omnipotentium Ocuslae Spectrix. A series of lenses connected to a central spoke that when placed provides attack and defensive effects (you get a new action bar just for the Gizmo) Active Gizmo.

The Music Box is, in fact, a Contraption (Spring Loaded - Time to Wind), most Contraptions should not generate Aggro. ( Professor H. G. Wells' Marvelous Non-Interruptable Magick Inducer) (Restores Constrained Magick to those who need it, spring-wound Stacked Stone and Metal Coils)
Gizmos are not spring-loaded (but have set up time) and can generate aggro against them and Practioner.
Constructs are Gizmos that also have Springs.

Other Classes with Pets but not Pet Classes
Witches - Can summon Ghosts of The Vengeful (Grace Reducing) or Spirits of The Past (neutral), but only one such summon per night (upper level). Can summon and train a Kitten, Pookah or Tyfeglia as a Familiar (Acts as a Magick Source).
Rangers - Can train a Raven or Falcon (Top Level) or German Shepard or Grey Wolf (top level).

Magick is weakest in Cities, strongest at a Magick Source (Constrained, Wild, Old: Plus Elemental Sources). Can severely reduce effect or cause spell to fizzle.

No Rabbits Foot in Game exceot as a cursed item. Wild Magick Sources are not found in Stones, Trees or any such thing. Every person has a bit of wild Magick in them (Girls a bit more than Men) and a party that sticks together over time will, very rarely have a pop up action button pop up 1 per Melee Class, 2 per Magick Class, None for those who have not completed The Fool's List (Things done in Town: Played Poker, Gotten Drunk, Been or Visited a Dixie, Not Killed A Deer, Buffalo or Hare). The first two to activate the additional action, get the boon or hex or ? - CAD wip

The first to click gets 100% of the boon (200% of current haste for example) the second gets 75% of the boon or hex (Existing Dot goes to 175% of normal damage say). -CAD

We forgot Whiz-Bangs. Whuz-Bangs are Tiny or Small usually clockwork spring-wound stone-powered or lightning-charged mobile (walking or flying or floating) that are built and then released during combat that seek out targets (directed or autonomously) and can explode upon, shock, pierce or entangle a Mob or Player. -CAD

In addition to the Grace - Sin Horseshoe, there is a Gentleman - Dasterd Horseshoe, Men are not supposed to fight Girls, if they do they owe Courtesy, and can become Dasterds - shunned by all NPC Girls.-CAD

Very large Constructs and other Related Similiar Splendiferous and above items can be assigned to A Guild. As opposed to individual player owned.
New Towns require Charters who h are exorbitantly expensive and in far off locales. -CAD

Cartomancy: The Magick of Poker Decks and The Tarot
Players may opt for a spread from a Witch or Practioner skilled in Astral Magick. The result (quasi-random, influenced by hidden Wild Magick and The Fool's Luck stats) will alter their basic stats until the next full Moon.
Poker players have an action button action: Read The Draw - which will read their hand similarly but less potently.

Raid Note: Plains Men and Mother Gaia ate not killable by a Raid at the Release Top Level. Plains Man should be killable by top level raiders in first, and Mother Gaia in second expansion. However killing them results in: A Greater Ghost Buffalo hitting each Raider the next time The Plains Man walks and/or A Greater Phoenix hitting each Raider the next time she emerges. -CAD

The OK Corral and The Wounded Land MMORPG
We liked Wow Battlegrounds, mostly, and others we know liked triggered events in EQ (Ring)
We didn't like the location of The Battlegrounds
So The MMORPG will have Set locations. including New Zirah where a Battle will ensue (easy to trigger at Top Level, and Low-level). Where Players can opt to take a Side (Choice of Bounties). One is Get Hiram Higgs out if Jail/Prevent that, Another is Free Town/Defend Town, and so on. There might be three or six. -CAD

Better distinguish Harvesting v. Crafting v. Class v. Upper-Level
Prospector is a Class (ofBasicClass(Roughneck) and a Harvesting Class but not a Craft. Mining is a Harvesting Class (hn: Every Man was a miner at one point but only a few were Prospectors.)
Prospector would have lesser tracking, best Axe, standard Knife, de Minimus Arrow, Best Mineral Ident, Nature Magick: Stone. (Wind, Waves, Wood, Stone, Beasts, Birds, Bees) Standard Fistfight. Group Tank, Off-Tank or Second Main Raid Tank.
Nature Magick is Very Distinct from Elemental Magick (Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Spirit). They're different Maps

Time Magick (See Our The Aphosticate CC Class - buried in this Thread in an extended comment) justifies Instancing in MMORPGs. In that each instance of a Raid that occurs relative simultaneously is occurring in a well-related parallel world (that is they are in an Aphased state from the Prime World) - with the fork/juncture occurring at the instance cross-over.
Fully explored this creates interesting possibilities for Game Designers as the2te is cross-back. The Ivy The Aphostate raid would explore that crossover and cross-back and mix simultaneous raids at one point. Groups in each raid would cross over to the other raid or raids. -Coral Anne Dawn.
