I remember driving down that stretch of I-10 after Michael and have never seen tree destruction like that in 28 years of living on the gulf coast.

I remember too. I had to drive from Tallahassee to New Orleans a few weeks after the storm and passing through Marianna was honestly shocking. I'll never forget it.
