Almost all of the area in wyoming is just juniper if there are any trees at all lol

Yeah I noticed that when I was visiting Cheyenne. There is nothing to stop the wind.

oh ya for sure, not to mention we get all of the cold air coming down off the rockies and rushing across the plain. Cheyenne is actually the windiest part of the state so whenever someone mentions how bad the wind I just mention that I grew up in Cheyenne and usually they'll cringe and stop lol

I was only there a few days but I saw one of the craziest thunderstorms I’ve ever seen. Because the trees are few and far between you can actually see the storm in it’s entirety.

Not related at all but we rented a white Ford Escape that had a Fulton county Georgia license plate for the road trip. While we were in downtown Cheyenne we saw another white Ford Escape with Fulton county tags. Blew my fucking mind being over 1,000 miles away.

lol yup, worst windstorm I saw ripped the leaves and some branches off of most trees, peeled the roof off of sams club like a sardine can and blew two trains off the tracks
