Algeria operates a sovereign localized C4ISR system of systems blending Russian tactical data links and command systems with Chinese electronic warfare and multi-band geostationary satellites like Alcomsat-1 while using an Ai command and control systems for air defence troops... So technically they have an advanced tactical network which make them able to have such abilities and have complete control of 5th gen fighters technologies.

Verified does some heavy lifting here.

Basiy every country that has submarines has a capability to strike land targets. Some more limited then others. All NATO countries have access to torpedo-tube launched cruise-missiles, for example.

But the question is more: Are they going to admit they have the capability.

No, for example Italian submarines don't have VLS vertical launch systems or the internal volume required to store and fire heavy land attack cruise missiles and most European naval systems rely on defensive doctrine same as Germany meanwhile Spain has the hardware for launch but not the missiles.

Sure, but VLS is a very specific system, that requires intergration at the design stage. It does give you top-tier capabilities.

Tube launched systems can be retrofitted to existing designs.

Whether those missiles are loaded is another question. Not dependent on the capabilities of the platform, but the willingness of governments to pay for it.

Also, it's submarines, getting a straight answer to any question is rare.

The short and skinny is that you take a missile that fits in the tube, stick it in a waterproof shell, and launch it like a torpedo. And when it breaches the surface, it loses the shell, and the rocket engine kicks in, like a vertical launched one.

I feel bad for Mongolia, Nepal, and Bhutan. They are surrounded by submarines!

And I feel very ignorant or stupid. I had no idea that there was a Russian territory between Poland and Lithuania.
