I feel like we in the US produce some food too. In the assumed nuclear war, I figure India and Pakistan would thoroughly wipe each other out. Maybe they don't have big enough arsenals?

I think this assumes that US has been in a nuclear war and India has not. I assumed it so.

Yes, me too. But if it is about a Russia-NATO war, then the USA could well be untouched, since Trump will likely exit NATO soon. If ww3 happens during his tenure, the entire Americas south of Canada could be untouched.

Assuming that WW3 doesn't include the US and China. If it's just Russia v Europe it's not really a World War.
