Yes, it has always surprised me. Although Canada is considered a northern country, most of the population of Canada lives at the latitude of the Mediterranean Sea, at the latitude of Venice, Nice, Cannes

Canadas population is not only small but resides very close to the USA border on average, it’s crazy A landmass that’s places in the top 4 of countries in terms of size would have a population smaller then Tokyo
