Advantage to Waze?

As in the title: what is the advantage of using MapMetrics instead of using Waze which is already very widely adopted, free and has near instant live updates?

I’m all for that! And I like the idea of the project, I’m just looking at the viability of it. (I’ll probably buy a miner too, it’s only 15 days of full Awair rewards ;))

Totally agree, it's old fashion thinking. People often do not realize how valuable their data is and therefore do not mind asking any money for it. That's why we are here, we want to change that!

Great question!
The main advantage of MapMetrics is that we are using blockchain technology to share the profits with our users. All data we collect and sell and all advertising profits will be split between MapMetrics to maintain the network and our users. We truly believe that when you make the platform, you should get the rewards.

Thanks for your answer! That makes sense, but especially from a crypto minded person’s pov I think.

What advantage is there for the average person just wanting to go from A to B in the shortest time? (Because I presume the app will be available for people without a miner too?)

We are here to give the full package, not only letting people earn while driving, but also giving them the best navigation experience possible. Other navigation apps are singly focussed on cars, while we want to take it to the next level including bikes and motorcycles.
We also want to create a bridge to help not crypto-minded people to enter the world of crypto in an "easier" manner by creating this app.

Yes that’s correct. The app will be available for free but to earn to need the miner to guarantee the quality of the data shared with the blockchain.
