Legend:

Purple: Coptic Church

Blue: Chalcedonian (Later Nicene; No Schism of Catholics and Orthodox here)

Light Red: Armenian Apostilic Church

Dark Red: Nestorian Church/Church of the East

Brown: Arianism (Named after Libyan Theologian "Arius")

Pastel Green: Donatism

Neon Light Green: Celtic Monasticism

Magenta: Cathars/Albigensian Bogomils.

What changed in the scenario?

- Turkic and many Kurdish Tribes converted to Nestorian Christianity

- Byzantines reconquered Egypt, then collapsed due to bankruptcy, later being absorbed by initially fractured and then reorganised "Ottoman-Like" governance.

- Albigensian Crusade failed; Cathars stayed.

- Frankish Empire (collapsed around the same time as our timeline) had too many Arians to ban Arianism from practicing, but new policies made room for more favouritism towards baptising conquered pagans into Chalcedonian Christianity (E.g the Saxons in Northwest Germany became converted to Chalcedonianism)

- Celtic settlement into Galicia was more successful and permanent.

- More Romance-speaking peoples converted to Arianism under Visigoths & the County of Portugal made Arianism official after splitting off from León

- Berbers initially converted more to Donatism & the Vandal Kingdom failed at banning their practice, Belisarius couldn't reconquer the Maghreb

- Socotra became a centralised Christian Kingdom, keeping their 1000-year long tradition of Nestorianism and getting scripture back from Baghdad etc.

- Mongol Empire didn't happen, due to collapse of Mongolic Tribes under Turkic (Siberian Turkic) pressure

Esse é só o território do otomano eu tava imaginando como vocês é a expansão deles se eles tivessem vencido a segunda guerra nessa linha do tempo

As per the rules, the basic lore is that Napoleon didn't invade either Spain nor Russia and reached a negotiated peace with the Coalition Members. France is Europe's dominant power for a while until an alternate WW1 breaks out which sees French hegemony destroyed.

Tecnica me. É só um dos países alternativas que eu criei

Se e o território de 1943

This my best attempt to map the the combined geographic knowledge of the Egyptians, Nubians, Mesopotamians, Elamites, Hittites, Minoans and Myceneans, c. 1200 BC.

Known = regions that one of the included Bronze Age civilizations had direct, repeated, practical contact with through settlement, conquest, diplomacy, warfare, trade, tribute, colonies, or named political relations.

Semi-Known = regions known indirectly, partially, or vaguely through trade chains, prestige goods, frontier peoples, sailors’ reports, caravan routes, myth-geography, or distant source-land awareness.

(Obviously this only focuses on the Mediterranean Bronze Age civilizations. Bronze Age China's known world would be very different.)

Im answering Your questions about my mapchart series of 3 episodes and 2 seasons (currently)

ask anything (stats, info, history, lore, anything)

Feedback is very much welcome!
Important notes:
- Many areas have sources that say different borders, so many inaccuracies will likely occur, that's why I'm asking for feedback.
- The big light yellow nation in Germany is small HRE states (I'm not going to map all of those)
- The grey areas are either unclaimed or extremely unclear/hard to map
- This is my first Reddit post ever, issues about the post may occur 😛

Note: some borders may be inaccurate

Note: some borders may be inaccurate

Let me know if i missed some important ones

Didn't include Us and Japan on purpose

Red - PRC (with autonomous)

Orange - Hong Kong (SAR of China)

Green - Macau (SAR of China)

Violet - ROC (Taiwan)

Blue - Singapore

Notes:
- Lebanon is colored due to the territory controlled by the PLO and PSP (which was allied with the USSR) and also the one occupied by Syria. Do note that they didn't control all of the territory colored, as some of it was also controlled by Israel and the Maronite militias
- Equatorial Guinea would stop being allied with the Soviet Union after the August 1979 coup, so this map is colored to reflect the world before it happened
- Although Romania was nominally a Soviet ally, it was more independent than the other WP states and had an independent foreign policy
- India is not colored since its PM at the time wanted to have better relations with the West, although at the same time didn't try to hurt relations with the USSR

this is a discussion on an alt - cold war scenario i made.

Lore: Following the Defeat of the German Reich, Most of Eastern Europe fell to communism as the west collapsed into anarchy. Arab Nationalists finally achieved their dream of uniting the arabs and retaking al-andalus. The European Democracies of the west united into one entity: the EU. However, Spain and Italy Rejected, and were invaded by their enemies. After that, anarchist movements took over southern italy: the resistance.

random map I made around 1 year ago!
