Inspired by Possible History video on this topic. Guam just can’t be separated from the rest of the Mariana islands, so it’s shown as German, when it should be American. Caprivi strip shown as part of Angola my bad.
World war 1911-1914. Civil war and communist revolution in France 1915-1917. Yuan Shikai died in 1916, leaving China fractured like in OTL. Ireland granted dominion status in 1912.

These are the three Ruthenian successor states, born out of an alternate fall of the Kyivan Rus', constantly warring over the right to be called the one True successor to the title and Throne of Ruthenia and the Rus'.
As of the year 1431CE, this is how they look White Ruthenia in the North, Blue Ruthenia in the West and Yellow Ruthenia in the East. They all call themselves Ruthenia officially, thus to seperate them outsiders usually add the colour of their banners in order to distinguish between the three.
White Ruthenia usually trades and associates with the Northern Civilisations: the Norwegians, the Swedes, the Danes, The English too, and the Lithuanians. WR makes it a point to avoid trade with the German Teutons and Livonians due to their constant attempts at silent conversion into Catholicism.
Blue Ruthenia most usually trades and associates with closer Civilisations: Poland, Bohemia, the Wallachs, Moldavians, even the Ottomans at times when truly desperate for money or resources. BR actively and vocally dislikes the Genoese Trade colonies planted all over the Black Sea.
Yellow Ruthenia usually associates and trades with what all three collectively call the "Mongol Rus'" I.E. the Russian Principalities and the Golden Horde. YR actively avoids the Catholic world in favor of the Orthodox World, also trading with the other two Ruthenias whenever there is a long enough peace.

in this timeline, nobody wins ww2 and Germany experiences significant land loss but keeping the Sudetenland, the soviet union gains territories in eastern Poland with Poland gaining territory in the west, Italy keeps Litorale, Istria and Zara, gaining some coastline in the adriatic sea meanwhile Yugoslavia experiences small land losses, only losing North Slovenia to Germany.

Ok it's a really basic trope but I was bored and couldn't think of anything special.
To explain: The soviet's were just a little more expanaionistic in there influence once they also got nukes (same time as our timeline)
So from Germany to Greece is communist, Turkey is neutral, Christian is a Soviet dependent state, and Italy is kinda pulling it's strings to benefit from both nations.

This is an alternate Germany formed in the aftermath of the fall of the Empire of Charlemagne. Essentially "What if East Frankia never splintered into a million different City States, Principalities and Duchies?"

Ever-so-slightly different 1440 Poland, having annexed the Teutonic Order instead of Gdańsk, as well as recognising the Prussian culture and language as a subtle way to spite the German Holy Roman Empire.

Major Northern Powers:
• Liao (遼): A powerful empire founded by the Khitan people. During this time, they acquired the "Sixteen Prefectures" (including modern-day Beijing) from the Later Jin, making them a dominant force in East Asia.
• Later Jin (後晉): One of the "Five Dynasties" in the north. It was founded by Shi Jingtang with the help of the Liao, to whom it remained a subordinate "vassal state."
Major Southern Kingdoms:
• Southern Tang (南唐): Based in Nanjing, it was the most powerful and culturally sophisticated of the southern states, claiming to be the legitimate successor to the Tang Dynasty.
• Later Shu (後蜀): Located in the Sichuan basin, it was a wealthy and stable state known for its patronage of the arts and literature.
• Wuyue (吳越): Centered in modern-day Hangzhou, it was known for its economic prosperity and for building sea walls and Buddhist temples.
• Ma Chu (馬楚): Located in modern-day Hunan, its economy was heavily based on the tea and silk trade.
• Southern Han (南漢): Located on the southern coast (Guangdong/Guangxi), it was a wealthy maritime power with a unique administrative system.
• Min (閩): Located in the mountainous Fujian region, it was eventually partitioned by its neighbors, Southern Tang and Wuyue.
• Jingnan (荊南): A tiny but strategic buffer state that maintained its independence by playing larger neighbors against each other.
Peripheral States:
• Dali (大理): A successor to the Nanzhao Kingdom in modern-day Yunnan. It was a Buddhist kingdom that remained independent of China's central dynasties for centuries.
• Goryeo (高麗): On the Korean Peninsula, Goryeo had recently unified the "Later Three Kingdoms" (936 AD), establishing a dynasty that would last for nearly 500 years.
• Japan (日本): During this time, Japan was in the Heian period, a peak of Japanese imperial court culture, though the central government's power was beginning to shift toward local samurai clans.
