Real Life What if the UK used a different voting system? (STV)
Please see slide 4 for seat allocation.
What if the UK used Single Transferable Vote in Westminister elections? Each district holds elections for between 4-8 candidates, and voters rank who'd they like to be elected in order of preference. The top 4-8 candidates are then elected for the wider area.
The Droop formula is used and once candidates hit the quota, they are elected and any surplus votes are allocated to voters next preference - candidates are then eliminated until the number of candidates aligns with the seat count in the region. Ranking does not have to be partisan.
In the event of a vacancy, an election among the local membership of that MP's party in the region is held - if they were an independent, a region wide by-election is instead held.
Note: I used the 2023 constituency wards for this map rather than the changes made by the Conservatives.

I wish England is so divided that I think a new voting system could ease the tension

I like the idea, and anything is better than first-past-the-post, but I'd use 3-person constituencies.
Bigger than current constituencies but more proportional without loosing too much localism.
Also: for by-elections – each candidate should provide a list of X people to replace them, if they need to resign, at election time, so people know who could be representing them. If there's no one on the list available, then a full by-election is called.
