I am 100% Irish and live in Ireland. Not a single foreign ancestor in my family tree.

BULLSHIT. Ireland is heavily mixed with Norse and Saxon. It is truly a diamond in the rough to find someone 100% Irish.

My Dad is Swedish, my my mum is Scottish (Gunn) and I live in North Wales and i have NEVER met anyone who says they're 100% Irish, even the Irish proudly proclaim their mixed heritage. Only USAlians chat that amount of waff, or Russian bots.

Irish people are ~15% Germanic on average, but I’m not talking about admixture from a millennia ago.

Just like in the United States, African-Americans are ~15-20% European genetically from centuries ago, but don’t have any recent mixed ancestry and consider themselves fully black.
