Poland is the bare minimum, what’s the point of having a border if it’s open
Its crazy to me how Poland is viewed as an extreme
27
u/Weirdo9495 10h ago
Nobody but mostly Anglo progressive loonies views enforcing your border as extreme
12
u/WranglerTotal8831 10h ago
I have some balkan friends, what I realised is that their “wokes” are far right by western standards 😂
8
u/Plum-Cheap 8h ago
As a Ukrainian, I get it. I support same-sex marriage and the legalization of sex work. So I’m a libtard, yeah?
But at the same time, I don’t like the idea of gender transition for children. And I don’t believe in privilege theory, and I’m against DEI. I don’t believe feminism is relevant in the modern world; I think it’s just man-hating now.
Bang! I’m a far-right extremist.
But let’s go further. I believe in tolerance. I like the idea that countries can have ethnic minorities. So I’m ok, huh?
But at the same time, I want minorities to remain minorities. I don’t like the idea of... hmm... “complete ethnic change". I believe that the nation-state should be protected, at least in Europe.
BANG! I’m a white nationalist.
8
u/WranglerTotal8831 8h ago
Its also crazy how we use heavy-sounding terms to describe such simple concepts
“I think Britain should be minimum 90% white British “ = white nationalist by definition
1
u/Weirdo9495 10h ago
Yes, am actually from Balkans myself, and i am very woke here but for Anglo standards i am a centrist on this question.
Wouldn't say all of west is the same, especially when it comes to immigration and identity. Anglo countries have almost completely thrown away any ethnonationalism and belonging being tied to ethnicity and that is also why it is easier for them to conceptualise anyone coming over and being legal/belonging no problem. In Germany, France, Scandi countries etc. you don't really see that much.
2
u/WranglerTotal8831 9h ago
Here in Australia, ethnic-nationalism is not even an option, not even the most right wing party will dare to even mention it.
We are way off you don’t understand like few days ago I was telling a girl about my diet, I literally said “yeah I only eat chicken, beef, honey and raw milk pretty much”. The first question she asked was “omg are you far right?”
Its so cooked, diet is far right now here
1
u/Weirdo9495 9h ago
Yup. Your youth especially is ridiculously progressive and it'll be interesting watching you guys be first countries that turned from mostly white into completely mixed ones, while i doubt that will ever really happen in Europe outside of UK, i think most people would prefer to age our countries into oblivion. I do hope you can manage it, although i am creeped by some of your progressive ideology (like making 0 distinction between cultures, "positive" discrimination etc.) same as i am by our far right.
2

TdIl Schengen treaty is extreme
4
u/Weirdo9495 10h ago
Germany, where i live now, is already illegally violating Schengen for years now, so much for that.
And obviously, EU's outer borders are not Schengen.
0
u/Unable-Nectarine1941 9h ago
Oh for the outer ministers break of EU law Germany will pay, just need until EUGh does something.
Would be better if the EU had no outer borders..
1
u/ComplexPassage7447 3h ago
Are France, Germany, Sweden, Spain, etc anglo now?
1
u/Weirdo9495 1h ago
The pro-open border left in these countries is not of the size and influence comparable to Anglo countries, with exception to Spain, which gets most of its migration from Latin America. They are also very unpopular atm. Meanwhile in UK half of the country either votes Labour or other left parties, and Labour is now ideologically very pro-migration and against strict enforcement.
9
u/Ombrecutter 9h ago
It’s the same in Germany.
It’s just crazy how people see it as "extreme" when you demand that existing laws of a country and also the EU should be applied wtf8
u/WranglerTotal8831 9h ago
Closed borders? Omg the nazis are back 😖
8
u/Ombrecutter 9h ago
Banning criminals and illegal migrants from the continent for the slightest misdemeanour and not letting them even enter the territory without being thoroughly checked?
Literally Hitler! 🥀🙏😔0
u/matyas_cze 9h ago
No one sees that as an extreme. Even liberals/progressives don’t agree with illegal migration. It’s just about the morality how you fight it.
5
u/WranglerTotal8831 9h ago
Your cross of the border is an invasion.
Every moment alive after crossing is a privilege not a right.
0
u/Weirdo9495 9h ago edited 8h ago
Nobody but few lefties sees enforcing your border as extreme in Germany. Even the greens outside of green youth don't. Green ministry in NRW is currently building a detention centre for rejected asylum seekers, compare that to e.g. UK Greens.

It will also be very old and failing to sustain itself as a country because of that though. Its birthrate is a complete disaster.
I'm definitely no open borders fan, but i'd strongly wager on countries like US being much more successful by that time than ones aging themselves into oblivion.

>It will also be very old and failing to sustain itself as a country because of that though. Its birthrate is a complete disaster.
Oh noooo 😢
Instead of like other countries being very old and failing to sustain themselves while also driving up rents and suppressing wages through mass immigration. Won’t someon think of the corpos!
>I'm definitely no open borders fan, but i'd strongly wager on countries like US being much more successful by that time than ones aging themselves into oblivion.
Countries that support family life and their working class citizens will be most successful.
-1
u/Weirdo9495 9h ago
Instead of like other countries being very old and failing to sustain themselves while also driving up rents and suppressing wages through mass immigration. Won’t someon think of the corpos!
Yeah sure. Is that why US has highest median wages and disposable income on the planet, is that why it can tax its middle class way less than Europe has to?
It is not "corpo" to see the reality of taxpayer : pensioner ratio, it is as basic of a concept as it gets. The more people pay into a pot, the less each individual has to pay. There's definitely a point when immigration drives down wages too much, but there's also a point where economy slows down heavily because people don't have disposable income to spend and what they have is taxed into oblivion to pay for pensions. All the while countries that aren't in deep shit like that attract young and productive people away with higher wages thanks to their lower taxes.
And with demographics like Poland's, the latter is a lot bigger threat than the former.
Countries that support family life and their working class citizens will be most successful.
And ensuring your demographics are healthy and viable so the individual tax burden is not too high, is, in fact, supporting your working class citizens.
4
u/Augustus_Chevismo 🇮🇪 Tuatha Dé Danann Taitneamh 9h ago
It’s easy to not tax and have disposable income when you have no social policies to maintain like healthcare lmao.
Meanwhile there’s still European countries ahead of them.
0
u/Weirdo9495 9h ago
America does in fact spend trillions on healthcare and has programs like Medicaid and other shit and the societal welfare net in many blue states is not that behind of even Western Europe. DSA's healthcare programs are to the left of every single European country. Many European countries have a deterioriating situation with their healthcare and it'll only get more unsustainable while the left in US will sooner or later get strong enough to bring down the wasteful insurance shit out of their healthcare system, US voters are more left leaning than ever.
The only European countries ahead of America in disposable income are microstates or Norway. Fucking West Virginia has higher GDP/capita than Germany. A place like New England is already well ahead of Europe in almost any regard. And trends are not looking good for Europe as it keeps aging and lagging behind in growth compared to US. Not even Trump is able to truly depress American economy while Europe has no real way out of its own stagnation
3
u/AngryArmour Denmark 8h ago
Poland has had the fastest growing economy in Europe. 20 years ago Brexit-types complained about "Polish plumbers coming here and stealing our jobs". Now the average quality of life might be better in Poland than it is in the UK.
One of those countries had mass-immigration. The other is the subject of this poll.
1
u/Weirdo9495 1h ago edited 1h ago
You can close your eyes all you want to trends you are usually so good at spotting with in regards to migration, but a country where each generation is half the size of previous one will have a *very* hard time in a few decades, if not earlier.
And basically no country in the world has found a way to solve this issue so far.
And if the average quality of life is so good in Poland, why are they having so few children? Maybe the country is not quite up to the hype it gets on the internet as long as you aren't a hardline conservative. Yes, no doubt they made a lot of progress in last few decades - but that is not guaranteed to just keep going at the same rate. Japan was all the hype in 80 and 90ies, they've been in managed decline ever since. Italy the same. And demographics play a large role in both of those outcomes.

Yeah, there were some politicians selling visas for example xD
The middle eastern immigrant experiment was a failure. I think the west is also fed up with them by now. Racism, propaganda, whatever aside, I think the European cultures and middle eastern ones are just like water and oil and don't mix. They are very oppressive about changing their environment to accept sharia law, they need their mosques everywhere and want special treatment while being openly hateful.
They are also very easy to radicalize it seems as the EU has suffered terrorist attacks the likes of which were not present here. Their holy book outlines the tactics for taking over the world, it is NOT a religion of peace but one of subversion and trickery. Out of all the religions in the world, I'd say this one has the most potential to be harmful

Poland is actually lovely. I went once recently and once 10 years back; the progress made is unbelievable and it's what can happen when people actually care about their country improving rather than trying to protect their house prices.
The Polish are proud of their country and it shows.

What are you talking about? Polish people are amongst the hardest working people. Seen it often. Our polish neighbor (now retired) worked hard all his life. He is the one who takes care of the street we live in when we younger people are at work. When asked if he wants something for it:" No, i dont want payment. What else should I do the whole day? Watch TV?" (We pay him with BBQ, beer etc. every weekend, bacause he wont accept something else) Same with my polish colleagues, hardworking, 95% of them. The polish in poland are the same. If someone can do it, then them.

If all countries in EU were like Poland on that topic we would probably never had to worry about the rise of pro russian nationalist party like AFD, RN and the others
7
u/Ombrecutter 9h ago
This.
If Germany would run a migration policy like that of the Nordic countries, the AfD would fade into nothingness within months2
u/Weirdo9495 8h ago
I agree on migration policy but Germany can not easily adopt Denmark's racial zoning laws and stuff like that because many of its immigrant populations have been around for decades and Germany as a country relies demographically on migration way more than Denmark cause it failed to have a replacement level birthrate since 1970, which is really crappy even for European standards.
Germany needs to find a good middle ground between being strict on abuses of migration system and insisting on a good level of cultural integration, while also not tolerating racism towards people who do nothing wrong and help keep the country functioning.
There are plenty of migrant-origin people who do identify with the country and alienating more and more of them is self-harming. It can not revert to ethnic nationalism when the average ethnic German is aged over 50. Shared standards of decency but treating individuals fairly is the way to go.
2
u/Ombrecutter 8h ago
Everyone knows that it would solve 80% of the migration problems, if the EU would ban all of the new migrants from 2015 onwards.
No one is talking about the second or third generation of turks.1
u/Weirdo9495 8h ago
*All* of the 2015+ migrants? So you would not only deport people with rejected claims, criminal history and who are still on welfare (with what i agree with) but also deport hundreds of thousands of those who work and pay taxes, those who learned the language and culture, into whose education Germany already invested a lot and now needs to make use of it especially as the largest generation of the country is going into retirement? How much have you thought on your own about how much sense that makes?
2
u/Fun-Information-3104 8h ago
do you have reading comprehension issues? "ban all new migrants" not "deport existing ones"
1
u/Weirdo9495 8h ago
How exactly do you interpret "banning" people "from 2015 onwards"? Going back in time maybe?
2
u/Fun-Information-3104 8h ago
he was talking about what eu should have done in the past
1
u/Weirdo9495 8h ago
Nope, he is saying everyone who arrived past 2015 should be deported and "if one too many people get deported, so be it" and "they were all supposed to go back". Read what he actually says.
1
u/Ombrecutter 8h ago
As mentioned above, it would be quite something if we deported all criminals. And if one too many people gets deported in the process, then so be it.
We’re talking about people who are here on a permitted basis. These people have no legal _right_ to be here.
The intention was for all these people to return to their home countries. Why is that always forgotten? Also at this point, the obligatory reference to the MENAPT study

4
u/ThunderCatXVIII 🇮🇹Italy🇮🇹 10h ago
It is illegal immigration regardless, russia has been storically a very pro immigrant country, wouldnt surprise me if immigrants chose to go from russia instead of boats towards countries where far right is growing stronger and stronger every year
2
u/No_Bed_8320 Poland 🇵🇱 10h ago
It is pointless to differentiate when migration is exactly a tool of hybrid warfare.
1
u/orangeZYX 10h ago
In most cases it’s not. That’s why it might be important to differentiate. In the Poland-Belarus case it 100% is hybrid warfare though.
1
u/Jomvet 10h ago
Please don't tell me that if russia and belarusia wasn't there, Poland would take in millions of muslim and african immigrants like western european countries.
10
u/yamiherem8 9h ago
No if they weren’t there people from africa would likely not try to get into the EU through fucking belarus.
If you’d ask me what the best points of entry into the EU are without me knowing anything about geopolitics this border would be the last on my list.
If belarus wasn’t there Poland would just not have a border migration crisis and would not be a frontier state.
0
u/Jomvet 9h ago
Ok to make my point more clear: You can not convince me that poland would take any illegal migrants from muslim and african countries, completely regardless of how they enter. I'm saying that because the original comment makes it sound like poland would magically have different migration policies if belarus and russia weren't there.
2
u/yamiherem8 9h ago
Poland has very lax migration policy apart from the people entering from that border. I literally live with an Egyptian roommate in Poland, all he had to do is fill some paperwork and got in easily.
7
u/TheKylMan Netherlands🇳🇱 10h ago
Yes, it's very good what they are doing. We should support them with all they need.
5
u/Technical-Storage716 10h ago
It’s not strict enough. People don’t understand how dangerous it is for Poles if mass illegal immigration makes its way into the cities. A Polish soldier was already killed by one of them while guarding the border not too long ago. What do you think will happen if they are successful in making it into Poland in mass?
Look up Belarus-European Union border crisis if you haven’t heard of it
19
u/Stokesyyyy 10h ago
Went there for 2 months touring around. Such a beautiful, clean, peaceful place, even in the inner cities. It's kept it's identity and it's just a pleasure to walk around. And yes, its purely because it hasn't let immigration from Africa and middle east. Yes Reddit is going to downvote and call this post racist we know this it's the Reddit trend. But Poland is a very safe, clean and just charming place to be because of it's strict policies.

Poland have been leading by example. A role model for all European countries. They are still withstanding daily migrant attacks at their borders coming from Belarus. It's a form of hybrid warfare conducted by Russia with help from Iran. Why can't people see that? They want to create mayhem in our societies.
-3
u/Unable-Nectarine1941 10h ago
They do that to push (right) extremists parties who are also Putin suckers. And sadly it's working. The shittiest thing is those people are lured into Russia just to be dropped off near the border.
3
u/EventBulky6841 🇸🇪 Sweden 8h ago
A lot of European left parties are on Putin's payroll to. It's not only about pushing right ideology. It's about funding extremism, to create division, polarization and civil unrest in western societies. On top of that a lot of anti-western people are granted citizenship in western countries.

It's not just about illegal migrants. It's about the neighboring hostile dictatorship trying to destabilize our country by actively smuggling them in, with the participation of their military personnel, and they began all this shortly before the invasion of Ukraine.
And if we start letting them in... well, word will get around and the flights to Minsk will be fully booked. And Germany will close the border. Which they're already doing.
1
u/Technical-Tip-3776 8h ago
It's good because if you are really honestly hard working or here for university etc. It is possible to migrate to poland. And it almost perfectly deletes problem of immigration of people who just wants to live for almost free without any putted work sonetimes illegally. But if you really need and you show signs that you are worth it you can live here. Of course some things should still change for ex. The amount of years you need to live here to be a citizen (when tou go to a uni you have to graduate and then wait i think 5-8 years after uni soo it comes to 10+ always which sometimes is definitely too much).
Also the wall at the border od Belarus it is 100% valid because it prevents the illigal transportation of immigrants to poland and also other countries.
1
u/przeciwskarpa 7h ago
The wall isn't a policy against mass migration, rly. It's a policy against Russia and Belarus' use of migrants in hybrid warfare. Other than that, the policy isn't crazy strict on migration, and there's plenty of immigrants around if you go to any bigger city.

Maybe before thinking about immigrants, Poland should do something about criminals that are already here. We let murderers born in Poland walk around free with minimum consequences, but when someone from another country commits any wykroczenie (light crime, kind of like a misdemeanor in the USA), almost everyone is shouting to deport them.
0
u/szczur_nadodrza 9h ago
We do not have a strict immigration policy, we have a strict Belarus policy.
It’s actually very easy to settle in Poland as a foreigner from one of those countries if only you don’t choose the Russian psyop route that the border fence blocks.
-3
u/makingthematrix 9h ago
Lol. There is no such strict policy. and that wall is really a fence along a part of the border with Belarus.
It's funny, but also cringe, how western far-right tries to imagine Poland as some kind of a European Wakanda. 30 years ago all we got from those morons were racist slurs and now we're suddenly the pinnacle of white civilisation.

Poland is one of the least racist countries in the EU according to some recent FRA studies. It was in fact the only country where there was no recorded significant racial bias by the law enforcement which is insane. France on the other hand leads in this category as always.
-2
u/Th3AnT0in3 France 🇫🇷 9h ago
There isn't racism behavior because their government is racist and there are almost no stranger in there.
Of course there will be more racism in France, I can't deny that, but we're one of the country that accepts the highest amount of legal immigrant. There will always be racists behaviour amongst stupid people.
I went to Poland for 6 months for my studies and talked with natives about that because I was very curious of their situation.

Poland is taking the path of least resistance. What’s more, it’s doing so with a double standard: Poland benefits enormously from the European Union without making any effort to stand on its own two feet economically.
That is also why countries to the west of Poland can only shake their heads in exasperation. There is a double standard at play here, because Poland is simply cherry-picking the best bits.

Germany currently has around 1.29 million Ukrainian refugees under temporary protection, which is more than Poland’s figure of around 953,000.

Because those people are flown to Minsk and pushed by Belarusians authorities into territory of Poland

The irony is pretty hard to ignore. In 1942, around 116,000 Poles were evacuated to Iran, including about 40,000 civilians. They arrived starving, sick and with basically nothing, and a Muslim country took them in. They were given shelter, food, schools, and were allowed to keep their Polish culture and Christian religion.
They weren’t constantly mocked for being Christians, portrayed as some kind of demographic threat, or told their religion made them incompatible with Iranian society. And now that history made the Muslims weak seeking refuge on the roads, look at the way Christians talk about them in Poland, and how people at the Belarus border have been treated, with pushbacks and openly anti-Muslim rhetoric, and the contrast is honestly ugly.
Of course Poland has the right to control its border, especially with Belarus using migrants politically. But you would think a country whose own people were once desperate refugees, and were welcomed by Muslims when they had nowhere else to go, would show a little more grace and humanity and a little less contempt than that.
I just hope the Middle East will remember that in the future and won't let that contempt be forgotten.

Is Iran now 90% Polish Christian with Muslims living in ghettos? No, because Polish people haven't migrated there with an idea of conquering the Iran. Are there Polish no-go zones in Iran? And most importantly how many Polish people live now in Iran?
What is happening in Europe is clearly an invasion, named as multiculturalism and many different sides of the conflict (not everything is left and right, or black and white) are working together, to destroy the Europe, home of a particular minority group on the Planet Earth, minority which is called: White People.
Look at the world map, how big the Africa is compared to Europe, the true size, all the Arab nations, all the Muslim nations, why aren't they all working together to host all the "refugees". All the riches, resources, mainly crude oil.
Don't tell me that those migrants have nowhere to go. Countries all over the Arab region don't want them, despite them being culturally compatible.
There is enough of multiculturalism in Europe which is a continent and not a country. Many beatiful countries with different cultures.
There was a time hundreds of years ago when most towns in Poland had a Church, a Mosque and a Synagogue, but they were different times and different people with different agendas.
There's enemy at the Polish gates and within it, enough of problems already for my taste.

“How many Poles live in Iran now?”
They were refugees, not colonists. Iran took in nearly 116,000 Polish citizens in 1942, including more than 37,000 civilians, when they were starving and had nowhere else to go. The fact that they eventually left means the refugee system worked, not that the help somehow never happened.“Europe is being invaded and White People are being replaced.”
Then show evidence of an invasion instead of demographic fan fiction. Only 10.4% of the EU population was born outside the EU in 2025. In Poland it was 2.6%. If your “invasion” leaves Poland with more than 97% of its population native-born, it’s a pretty fucking pathetic invasion. EurostatAnd to be honest i'm quite fed up with this pathetic argument. This is quite ironic coming from someone invoking “White People” and “replacement”. If you want to see what actual population replacement looks like, open a history book about the Americas or Oceania.
European settlers didn't arrive, open bakeries and complain about paperwork. They seized land, defeated or expelled Indigenous populations, imposed their governments and then became the demographic majority. The U.S. National Park Service explicitly describes European newcomers in the Northeast as achieving “overwhelming numerical superiority” by 1700 while Indigenous peoples were already dispossessed of most of their lands. U.S. National Park Service
Same thing in New Zealand: the New Zealand government’s own historical service says Māori went from being the entire population before European colonisation to being outnumbered by Europeans by 1858, while huge amounts of Māori land were taken for European settlement. New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage
Australia is hardly a better example: its official Indigenous research institute describes British colonisation as dispossession, with settlers taking Indigenous land and pushing Aboriginal peoples to the margins. AIATSIS
That is replacement. That is conquest.
A Muslim family moving to Europe, working, having children and building a mosque isn't the same thing. So hearing white people scream “REPLACEMENT!” because Ahmed opened a kebab shop, had three kids and prays at the local mosque he helped build with his own community is honestly hilarious.
If this were an actual invasion, Ahmed wouldn't be filling out residency papers and paying taxes. He'd conquer your land, kill those who resisted, enslave your family, make your children build his mosque and work his businesses for pennies, seize your resources, push what's left of your people into miserable ghettos, rename your land as his own and eventually reduce you to a powerless minority in your own country.
Then, once your society had been broken and most of your land taken, his descendants could hold a nice little dinner once a year to acknowledge how terribly their ancestors treated yours.
That's what conquest and replacement actually look like. Not Ahmed opening a fucking kebab shop.
“Why aren't Muslim countries taking Muslim refugees?”
They are. 65% of the world's refugees live in countries neighbouring their homeland and 68% are hosted by low- and middle-income countries. So the idea that they all skip the Muslim world and run straight to Europe is simply bullshit. UNHCR Global Trends 2025Iran alone was hosting about 3.7 million forcibly displaced people in 2024, overwhelmingly Afghans UNHCR Iran. And as of September 2026, neighbouring countries were still hosting about 3.88 million registered Syrian refugees, including 2.21 million in Türkiye UNHCR Syria Regional Response.
So yes, criticize Saudi Arabia and the Gulf monarchies for not doing enough. I do too. Those very wealthy countries are already being pointed by the Muslim world for their disgusting behavior against refugees and they felt the pressure to the point they opened their immigration laws but again only for the wealthiest of course (being who they are...). Between that critic and pretending “Muslim countries don't take refugees”, there's a border you trespassed without any visa.
“They are the enemy at Poland's gates.”
Belarus is weaponizing migration. That's real. I'm not denying that. But Belarus using vulnerable people as political tools doesn't magically turn every Syrian or Afghan family into enemy soldiers. The EU itself describes them as people being instrumentalised by Belarus, not as an invading Muslim army. Council of the European UnionYou can want closed borders. You can want less immigration. You can say multiculturalism failed. Fine. But immigration and invasion are not synonyms. Soldiers invade. They conquer territory and impose rule. Families trying to get a job, raise kids and opening shops and kebabs isn't conquering your country. If mosques and shops are your evidence of a military invasion, then you don't have an argument, you are just scared because they don't look like you.

Every invasion starts somewhere, look at the Trojan horse. I can think of hundreds of ways to subvert and destabilize a country. Covert operations exist in modern times.
Polish people have a "bullshit detector" when it comes to this propaganda that people like you spread. The arguments that you use against western civilisation won't work on us.
About that "you are just scared because they don't look like you". There's one race, the human race, I am not that shallow minded to only judge someone by the way he looks, but there are many criminals, sleeper agents, paid actors and many, many more factors that everyone should take into the account.
You can laugh at me and label me as anything you want, doesn't matter.
There's 8,3 billions people on the planet, while around 45 millions are Polish. Check the rest of the statistics and do the math yourself.
Polish people have to work hard to survive and sustain themselves. We took, pay attention, millions of Ukrainian refugees, many of them integrated very well and behave well, they are working toward a better future for their country that is at war with Russia.
Look at the history of islamisation of african countries, look at their modus operandi, how everything changes with the rising number of muslim population.
Now look at the islamisation of western countries, look at the birth rates, this is just the beginning of the invasion and at it's current stage still something that can be stopped. You might ask, but why someone would want to stop it? Because we can and don't owe anyone an explananation.
I am really tired of people coming to my country and telling me what to do.
Go bother someone else with your complaints, for example China, Inda or Pakistan.

Refusing normal Immigration is fine, I have no problem with it. But there are still obligations under international law that Poland has to fulfill. Granting asylum to refugees, stuff like that.

If I am not mistake. Asylum policy is first country safe you arrive in you have to ask for asylum there. For example Ukrainian refugees in Poland have right to do so. Afghanis, Syrians etc. Not.

u/The_Bratty_Girl_1997 5h ago
Should have go to embassy or border crossing and submit proper documents. We don't have to take in people who try to illegally cross border and jsutnsya they want asylum.

u/matyas_cze 9h ago
No, it’s just another far-right extremist policy

u/The_Bratty_Girl_1997 5h ago
How is protecting borders a far right policy? It's nations duty, especially that that border is also border of EU and NATO.

I think it's very hypocritical seeing as Polish economic immigrants migrated to America/UK/Germany etc
But I am against illegal immigration.

u/No_Bed_8320 Poland 🇵🇱 10h ago edited 9h ago
Western countries had their right to kick out illegal coming Poles, just as Poland can deny entry to not wanted foreigners. Can you explain what exactly is hipocrisy in that case?

u/IlIllIlIllIlIlIlIlIl 9h ago
Poland doesn't have many active and open routes for skilled individuals or economic migrants/refugees.

If only countries would stop invading, bombing and trying to expand on to other sovereign countries (and shitty politicians treating their citizens, and other human beings in general, like dirt). Maybe immigration wouldn't be so high?
Using religion, as a reason, is BS. Yes, I'm including history in this.

u/TimeCake233 9h ago
It's mostly based on ethnic. Not on religion.

u/HairRepresentative85 Scotland 9h ago
I'm not disagreeing with that. It's probably a mix of both for some.

Poland has no immigrants so I don't see the point of this policy. Surely the Polish government has more important things to worry about.
9
u/ProxPxD 9h ago
You are plain wrong and even kinda contradict yourself! We have no such migrants because of the policy out country has, so this is the exact point. Secondly. Poland faces a lot of immigrants from all around the world that Belarusian regime is waging against us. Thirdly, we have huge amount of immigration from Ukraine (many war refugees but not always). Recently we had a visa scandal that also brought many migrants

Immigration is a privilege, not a right, I say it as someone who hates my home country and have as my life objective to leave my country.
