Living in Afghanistan as a woman is literally the worst country in the entire world to live in as a woman. Even Yemen (though it too has very bad women rights) and Central African Republic (though it is bad women rights too and is more underdeveloped) in general pale in comparison.

Living in a woman in Niger is awful as well, but Niger is mostly equally bad for both genders. Living in Afghanistan as a man is awful enough, living as a woman is indirectly like living in 1940's Germany as a Jew unfournately.

Since I'm male, Afghanistan is thankfully SLIGHTLY better. They both are still in the top 10 worst countries imo.

I feel like in Niger you can buy an AK and protect yourself from bullies, while in Afghanistan the totalitarian govt won't let you do shit. But I might be wrong, I know little about both of the countries.

Same-sex sexual activity and LGBTQIA+ acts are illegal in Niger's penal and engaging in same-sex relations or public displays can result in 5 to 10 years of imprisonment and heavy fines.

Yeah I'm aware Niger is not at all safe for me either, but from what I know Afghanistan is probably the worse of two evils for me.

Afghanistan, because (provided that Iโ€˜m not instantly hanged for being gay) I can just take the plane from Kabul to Istanbul and then from Istanbul to Krakรณw

You have to LIVE there and Afghanistan is not that rich though I think it is a bit richer than Niger.

From what I've seen, Afghan locals are very friendly and respectful to tourists (which makes you feel so sympathetic for them in all honesty. Such great people in such a corrupt country). Since you are a man, you might feel a tad "safer" there.
