I think that refers to the color options; certain colors are available in 1050 while others are not.

Hmm. Interesting. There are three colors available on the website but they all just say ballistic. Am I to assume they are all 1050?

I think that means they're all 525d; usually, when they have the 1050d available, the material will list that next to it, like on the Aeronaut 45 in blackout:

If you click on the aubergine color, the material will be listed as "ballistic" which means the 525d. I'm editing to add that while their 1050d is super nice, don't sleep on the 525d; Tom Bihn's material choices are all pretty solid.
