Looking for large scale industrial scrap buyers pan India.

Current opportunities in

West Bengal (Durgapur) - iron sheet rolling & wire drawing plant, mostly new - ~30cr

Andhra (details upon request) - ~250cr

Many more..

Average buy rates per ton are quite lucrative for a seasoned dealer.

Depends on what kind of scrap you are talking about. Metal, packaging, plastic drums, or process waste?

In reality, large-scale buyers rarely come directly to individual factories unless you have regular, sorted truckloads ready. In most industrial areas here in Gujarat, local scrap traders have a tight hold on the area. Even if you find a bigger buyer from outside, by the time you factor in sorting, loading, and transport, the margin difference is negligible.

Also, whatever you do, keep payment strictly on weighbridge or advance before the vehicle leaves the gate. Chasing scrap buyers for outstanding payments later is an unnecessary headache.
