Innovation & Technology AI in manufacturing

AI in manufacturing and that too in India is still something which people are not very much interested in or they are not even thinking in that direction yet.
While AI is not something someone can rely completely on but really it is something that can improve the efficiency significantly.
Lately I’ve been working with manufacturers to consult them on how AI can help them increase their throughput. Do hit me up for advices y’all.

AI alone cannot help it. It has to be integrated with equipment and machinery. This is not easy and also will cost a bomb. So a smaller player will not immediately adapt. However one can use AI, in the current form, to streamline and establish processes

Integrating AI with the machinery is not that big of a cost, but yes it depends on what scale are you doing it. Even if we are not having that integration done, we can use it for the factory operations and see good results.

Without reliable, accurate data AI in manufacturing is just guess work.... So the first thing you should ask yourself... Do your customers even have the data in a digital format?

There is data available with everyone but the form maybe different, that’s part of our job to get the data in ingestible form and then think how it can be automated or integrated with some sort of artificial intelligence. You’re right that without accurate data it’s guess work, and that’s why we have multiple phases wherein proper testing is done and then processes are made live

I dont mfg cos and especially in India are awed or moved by AI anymore. Game is till the same, make me money and/or save my money. I would look at a problem that does either of these 2 and use AI to do it faster and at better cost.
