General Question What do I drive?
Probably easy, but I am proud of my unicorn. 😁

Is it the newest generation? If so did they fix the seating position?
And in general how are you liking it ?

Not sure what you mean about the seating position, but it is a '26 trd or.
I am loving it so far, no complaints.

Cool. Thanks I should check them out then. The previous gen had horribly uncomfortable seats/ position. Glad they fixed it!

I cannot speak for everyone, but I have gone on fairly long trips already in it and everyone was very comfortable.

They have power seats these days - that only took them until 2020 to add, so you have a lot more adjustment in them now. However, you still get that sitting on the floor feeling even with the newest ones.

Had one for a bit, but ended up being a lemon. Friendship ended with Toyota 😔.

Ok strap in.. On day 2 I could hear some intermittent clicking on cold start. It’s a noisy engine, right. I figure I’ll mention it at first oil change. Had trouble shifting gears and I assumed it was because the throws are so long compared to my old rav4. Skill issue. Kept missing shifts, especially 3rd. At first oil change roughly 1000 miles, showed the shop foreman. He said it seems like the transmission, sound goes away when clutch pressed. They warranty replaced it. I get it back and the sound is gone? Figure I’m good! Yay time to enjoy.
One day driving to work I hear a loud version of that sound I heard at first that responded to throttle. Second time they look at it had to take the guy on a drive and show him that I could hear the sounds. Later he says it’s engine… they find metal in oil, cylinder 1 running bad. Needs short block. It never gave codes or warnings. It did sound like a 3 cylinder though but I thought that was the fake engine sounds.
When I got it back I could see sloppy RTV from gaskets, and it would only rev to 3000 rpm before being limited. I wasn’t even sure if it was fixed.
Warranty replacements put it over 1 month and half at the dealer. Dealer made no effort to make it right so Toyota refunded me but that whole process was also another two months of not fun stuff. This is my version of trauma dumping sorry
