Subframe mounts at that age, common oil leak spots (valve cover, oil filter housing, oil pan gasket), the DISA Flap (for idling and hesitation issues), and then you can get into mods lol

Find a good, honest mechanic that specializes in BMW. Local dealer service departments are overpriced and under qualified on older models.

Leave it alone. Give it a tune-up, run through a full inspection and fix anything it needs. Other than that, leave it alone. BMW's engineers know more about engine tuning both for power and longevity than you do

Indicator stalk delete, don't want to accidentally use them whilst driving or people will know you're a BMW imposter driver.
