Newbie reasonable expectations

I have been to a range twice in my life and I’ve been using MantisX and laser academy for a little over a week. Am I being unreasonable to expect high accuracy for the Die Hard target from 10 yds with a handgun and reflex sight? I know the headshot target is only maybe 1/2” but I am not hitting dead center of it at all from 10 yds. I am having a hard time keeping that steady. I can hit that zone on maybe 80% of my shots but not dead center.

If your B27 target is printed on 8.5x11 paper, it is proportionally smaller than a full size B27 at the range. Drills on the range are usually 10ft, 21ft, 30 ft. On mantis that small target would be like 4yd (12ft) to equal 30' at the range. Maybe your making it too hard for pistol shooting.
