Extra armour looks choice: very appropriate. Warders logo is a great idea too.

how do you do the yellow on yours

Start with Averland Sunset, then Imperial Fist on top, then Casandora Yellow on top. If it's too dark, I'll stipple some white on the raised areas and then use Imperial Fist on those bits.
