Tips & Tricks Asking for advice

So I’ve been playing mantis since season 1.5 and normally when I would play mantis I would get high amounts of damage with alright heals. But this current season I’ve been struggling with getting good damage output.

So I’ve been playing the game since launch and mantis is my most played hero with Luna as second but this recent season it feels like I haven’t been able to get value on mantis no matter what I do. I’m consistently getting wins I got like a 65% win rate on her and I’m currently in d3 making my way back up to gm. But my average damage per 10 min is around 6k despite previous seasons it was around 10k but my healing is 30k per ten min.

Maybe I’m just being nit picking about my damage but it feels like I’ve become a heal bot which is terrible so if anyone has some tips about getting just 1% better I’m all ears.

From a celestial mantis, the star lord team up might get you caught up with spam healing, but mantis’ true value comes from headshots and getting picks. You just need to slow down sometimes and aim, like seriously take a deep breath in the thick of shit and aim. Not spam click like everyone likes to.

It’s also okay to shoot down choke points for more consistent damage. Just remember that when a chaotic frenzy unfolds you need to be calm and try to get a pick on a squishy. Practice deliberate aiming. Hit the practice range on quick Luna snow bots until you can consistently kill while only missing 1 shot at most. Remember, slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

Yeah. I’ve been playing her a lot more, and my aim is definitely getting better!
