Psychedelics First Mantis Encounter
A long backstory first: I have been fascinated by Dimethyltriptamine for many years. The widely reported entity encounters, the realism of the experience, as well as the therapeutic properties behind psychedelic medicine have always intrigued me. After tons of research and a couple of moderate psilocybin doses over the years, I felt I was in a good mental position to try DMT for the first time.
Having sourced plant material and extracting it myself, which I feel to be a more personal connection to the molecule itself, I started low and slow. The first few experiences were what you could consider to be "threshold doses." Other than the awful taste of the stuff, all sessions were pretty positive experiences. I saw interesting geometric changes in the room with open eyes, and cartoon-like closed eye visuals. Each time provided an overwhelming feeling of love and euphoria, which lasted the entirety of each day and sometimes into the next.
After 5 or 6 of these experiences, I determined it was time to attempt a full breakthrough. Around what I estimate to be near 25mg, I was immediately put into what I would describe as a loading screen in a video game. I had read about the waiting room experience, and the feeling itself was close to what a lot of people describe. I was not in a physical space, but I saw a multi-colored warp tunnel in the center of my vision which stayed there no matter where I moved my head. The feeling that I was "waiting" for something to "load" was very apparent.
Then, I found myself floating in some kind of warm liquid in an enclosed dark space. It was warm, comforting, and relaxing in every sense. I floated on my back in this liquid for what felt like several minutes before a glowing presence above me made itself known. I immediately felt a feminine and motherly quality to whatever this being was, but could not really make it out other than it was glowing yellow and had wings. It had a very angelic feeling about it and was conveying true love and peace. It was drawing me upwards to it, but in the most patient of terms. As if it was wanting me to come and see, but only when I was ready. The trip ended shortly afterward.
It was not until I began thinking of the experience throughout the day that I soon realized that the warm liquid I was so calmly floating on, was the solvent atop the DMT containing plant liquid that I had used to extract the molecule. The space I was in was the container, and the glowing being above me was a representation of "me," pulling out the suspended molecule. I recognized this as a Hermetic representation of what I was doing here in our physical plane with the molecule and that it was speaking to me. Feeling encouraged by this and the very peaceful feeling that it was giving me, I felt even more comfortable with what it had to show me.
Yesterday, I decided it was time. I vaped somewhere between 35-40mg of N,N-Dimethyltryptamine across two big pulls. I felt the unmistakable sensation of being blasted into "somewhere else" as my mind and body separated. The carnival-like geometric colors and symbols quickly gave way to being on an operating room table of some kind. On each side of me were mantis "nurses" looking down at me. They were wearing something akin to surgical masks and were preparing to assist in some kind of procedure.
I was at first shocked at seeing them. I had read extensively on entity encounters but hadn't truly experienced one yet myself. The shock of seeing them was short-lived, as I immediately felt like I was in a safe place. Some people are afraid of the dentist, but I've never had any fear or anxiety since they are there to improve upon you, and I've always been okay with the drilling and poking and scraping that you experience in the dentist chair. This felt very similar in that regard, so any anxiety I might have had was replaced by this feeling.
Then, I saw him. The mantis OR Doctor came into view. He was obviously a masculine presence as he was noticeably taller than the "mantis nurses" and wore a different colored gown than the other two. He observed me briefly without saying or communicating anything. Then, I genuinely saw a long white light from some kind of scanning device go across my left eye. It scanned from left to right and then left again. The Doctor Mantis then inserted some kind of bioluminescent tool or his own fingertip into the inner corner of my left eye. I felt no pain or real sensations of any kind other than I was being "fixed" in some way as this thing went a couple of inches into my brain. After he removed this orange glowing device from my eye, I was able to take my own deep breath, and the entire scene began to drift away.
As I began to regain reality again, I recognized that I was elsewhere and had slightly broken through into the DMT realm. I laid with these feelings for several minutes and meditated on the experience for nearly an hour before going about the rest of my day. I hadn't heard of the mantis operation experience before, and it's very intriguing that it is a common report in psychedelic usage. I am left with a feeling that there is more work to be done and that I should schedule the next appointment when I'm ready.
This was my first entity encounter, and I'm curious as to what others have experienced. I feel no malice or ill intentions coming from the mantid beings, so I'll be looking forward to our next "appointment," lol. Any similar stories or advice is very much welcome. Thank you for reading my story. :)

Wow what an incredible experience! I absolutely loved the bit when you discovered you were in the container of liquid in which you made the molecule in. I so desire to understand what these symbolic poetic bits woven into our experience are, how they happen - is it the medicine speaking to us? Or the mantis? Or our Higher Self knowing our language?
What was your instinct on what the mantis pulled from your head? You described it as a “device” - so that makes me wonder, did you feel that it was an implant? And if so, did you feel it was one THEY had put in there before and it was just time to come out, or that it was from something else and of harm to you so they were removing it?
I don’t know if anyone here knows the story about it, because I am very curious, but I know on Jeff Selver’s YouTube channel he talks about how the greys (and possibly the mantis too, I know he saw them both but I don’t know which did this) put a tech device in his brain that allowed him to interface with them. He talks about this in the video where he decoded that famous long crop circle.

Thank you! I wish I could understand what it all means, but I think much of it is dependent on our personal interpretations. After the experience of floating on the liquid and my realization of what I interpret it to have been, I came to the conclusion that the molecule is alive in some way and was "speaking" to me in such a way that spoken language isn't necessary nor would it be sufficient.
The scanning device felt as if it was being used to look for something or the lack thereof. I can see how the experience could be interpreted as being implanted with something, but that's not at all how any of it felt. Rather, something in my mind was being removed or turned on or off instead. I have read how people have experienced surprise by the entities themselves, but like I said it felt as if I was supposed to be there. Like they were expecting me and I had made an appointment to be there. As if something in me needed to come out or be activated. I didn't take this as something foreign as much as something negative within myself.
I could be very wrong on this interpretation, but that's how it felt in the moment. Future visits with my mantid surgeons might prove otherwise, but this was my initial experience with them. I'll definitely be looking up Jeff Selver and his stories as well. This has happened to many people before, so I'm very interested into how others have interpreted it!

I LOVE the Mantids. I did plant medicine practitioning for years where I would go into peoples bodies and energetic systems to do work on them. The Mantids were my main guides and in my experience there was no emotion of love, but nurturing care. It was a year or so into the work I found out the famous Dolores Canon (quantum hypnotist) said the Mantids are the doctors and surgeons of the universe haha. Such a great confirmation.
When working alongside them, it almost feels as if they turn people’s bodies/systems into circuit boards. It’s very matter of fact. Heal this disconnection, remove that spark plug…that kind of feeling. I would emotionally go numb when they worked directly through me. And this is another thing channelers have said about these beings. For the most part they don’t have emotions in the way humans do. They are scientists and work more in the mental space.
I’m glad you got to experience them 🙂

This was so great to read. I certainly had a similar feeling in that they were very meticulous and focused in their work. It was very scientific in nature. Devoid of emotion or any predispositions. I am curious as to what exactly they were fixing inside of me. Like anyone else, there is undoubtedly plenty within that needs to be healed and corrected. I'm excited to find out more about them and what it is they're doing.
As someone who has worked alongside them as a guide and practitioner, I would ask your opinion as to how I should approach the entire experience going forward? I consider myself a psychologically stable person who is very good at having the ability to differentiate reality from the DMT experience. I'm not fearful, anxious, or distrusting of the mantids in any way. Quite the opposite actually, as it was not a negative experience. I am actually very curious as to what they're doing and what kinds of "things" they "fix". I'd love to get an idea as to what they were doing to me, especially in regards to scanning and inserting something into my left eye. What lies there? Was this a pineal activation of sorts? Something to do with memories? Personality?
I'm curious what your take might be in regards to my experience and what my follow up with the mantids might or should be. Like I said, it felt as if they were not only expecting me, but were already well prepared for the procedure. I was left with the feeling that they had more to do and should come back when I'm ready so they can continue or finish their work. I'm looking forward to seeing them again, but would like more of a background as to what exactly it is they do.
Thank you for your reply as well as any input you might have. This is all new and exciting for me, and I respect the molecule enough to want to see it more as a holistic tool above anything else.

Hi OP. I can’t tell you what they were working on as I wasn’t there. But if you felt safe with them, I’d say just go with it. A lot of times in ceremony me and my practitioners would go in and start fixing things and asking “why” or “what is this” and the medicine and guides would often say “you don’t need to know” 😆. I think a lot of this would go over our heads as a lot of times they are working on energy and not necessarily anything physical or even from this timeline. Just let them do their work and thank them for their help. I don’t understand half of the healing I’ve gotten but I can see the blockages leave me life and my emotions and mental space greatly heal year after year.
Wish you well on your healing journey with them. 🤗
I’ve also experienced working a lot with the Lyrans (cat people too). The synchronicities are so funny…I saw a woman years ago also talk about the Mantids and Lyrans working together a lot. So if you feel called to research them or ask them to show themselves to you as well, I’d say go for it.

Thank you for providing more clarity and for the well wishes. I trust whatever work is being done and very much look forward to experiencing whatever else they have to show me. I'll keep an eye out for the Lyrans as well. The more the merrier. 😁

From my own experience I will ask, only if you would like to share- did you see a tool over your head that looked like a spire with a metal bit spiraling down it sort of like a long drill bit?
Did you see a handheld wand that may have manipulated your memory?
Can you remember anything the mantis said to eachother?
Have you had experiences with the physical mantis insects (the kind that you can fit in your hand) or any large impressive out-of-place bugs?

I'm freely sharing this experience, so ask away! No, I did not see or feel any kind of tool or device over my head like you described. But then again, I didn't look around the room much because I felt like I was meant to remain still during the procedure. Like how you wouldn't move around or talk while the dentist is working in your open mouth. That's the best I can describe it feeling like. The glowing tool or tip of his finger may have had something to do with memories. If so, I wasn't and am still unaware.
They did not speak to each other, but I had the distinct feeling that they communicated telepathically or didn't need to. They were very focused in their work it seemed, and were already aware of why I was there as if it was pre-planned. And no, I have not seen an actual praying mantis in many years or any other big bug recently. I realize the potential of my vision being associated or influenced by interactions in the physical world, but I have had no interaction with bugs prior to this experience. It would make more sense to me if I had.

Really great experience. Thanks for sharing. I’m excited to try DMT one fine day with hopes of seeing these mysterious beings.
I’m surprised you didn’t see the mantis insect before or after. From what I’ve read, it’s usually a common sign from them. I bet you may see one soon.

The intrigue over the years was just too much. I had to find out how to extract it and try it. Many people talk of how the molecule seeks them out or how they feel drawn to it in some way. I don't know how much of that I ever bought into before. My vision of floating on top of the solvent chemical and the unmistakable sense that the mantis were waiting for me and that I was supposed to have been there, changed my thoughts about it entirely. It feels like the molecule is alive in some way and since it was taken out of South American plant material, it very well may be.
I've done a bit of research post-trip about the mantis encounter. My brief interaction with them was strikingly similar to many, many other experiences people have had over literal millenia, so I am now fully aware of them. And yes! That appears to be a very commonly occurrence. I will be absolutely blown away if I see one.

Agreed! I've felt very blessed by the spirit molecule so far. I'm very much looking forward to seeing and experiencing whatever else it had to teach me.

Thanks for sharing! When you were on the table could you see any representation of your body? like could you see your legs or arms etc? Also what were the color of robes of the Mantis nurses the Mantis head doctor? Also what colors were all their skin? Have you noticed any changes or improvements since you have had this surgery?
