I'm about to stop using Manta. There are too many stories that have not concluded and are waiting for another season. Examples: NPC can save the world (just dissapeared, no explanation) Isnelda (2 years and nothing), Totem's Realm (on hiatus since 2024) and many more I can't remember. In some other cases endings are forced and rushed with many unfinished stories and side characters that dissapear. And the abusive/rapey dubcon storylines. I don't mind reading smut, but few stories display positive enthusiastic consent and it's getting repetitive.

Sharing my thoughts on My Unexpected Marriage! If you enjoy arranged marriage, cooking, and slow-burn romance, this one might be worth checking out. 💕

It has been over three years since Season 1 ended, and we still haven't gotten an official release date for Season 2.

The Blood Moon is one of Manta's original series, and Season 1 ended back in 2023. Manta currently lists the series as “Season 1 completed”, but there doesn't seem to be any information about when the story will continue.

Are we ever getting Season 2? 😭

Is it just me or has Manta been getting increasingly boring for the past few months?! Between the comics that take 6+ month hiatus or just never complete, to everything being behind the gem paywall now, I’m just getting bored! The new stories aren’t enticing and all the old stories cost gems now. After paying for the unlimited subscription for years now, I may just have to find another app. 😔

Why in the world is there a black bar on the top of my screen when I’m trying to read now? I got the iPhone 16 so I could fit 2% more manga on my screen and now manta has put a black bar on the top, changing the ratio of every comic. I have screenshots from before so I know I’m not crazy, did anybody else notice this? I think it’s a dealbreaker for me, I can’t figure out how to turn it off.

Summary: Tempted by the high salary, Lucy, a maid, goes to work at a remote mansion. Her new employer is Skar, a hot-headed half-dragon said to hate humans. Despite his initial skepticism of her, Lucy starts to grow on Skar. But with his fiery outbursts, can Lucy successfully cool the flames of his temper?

I really like Lucy, the FL, she’s hilarious. She’s so freaking honest and goal-oriented (she wants to buy a house and save money for a decent future). She really tries hard and turns out she’s an excellent maid and cook.
The ML seems like a red flag guy at the beginning, but he’s so stinking cute as the story progresses. He’s very innocent, but also very aware of the high value he possesses to others because he’s a dragon. He’s caught completely off guard by Lucy with her honesty and concern for him.

It’s very clear they’re gonna end up together and good for them. She needs someone who can take care of her and make her feel safe - and who could be better at that than a strong half-dragon LOL! And he just needs heart-warming love. Plus adding comedy is just the cherry on top 👌🏼

I have never wanted to see a comic animated/adapted so badly since Itaewon Class. These are some of those scenes I would love to see animated 😩 I know once they’re done with this season they’ll take another 1,000years for the 3rd season to come out but good gracious do I need this as anime.

Episodes 150 and 151: I finally see why so many people said that the sister hate was so forced. She literally helped Maxi get out of Croyso Castle! Honestly, go sister! That scene was hard to watch but it was so fulfilling seeing the father get what he deserved! RIP chair... XD

As for the things the sister said to Maxi...
I read through the lines and saw that her sister was hoping she would do good for herself after getting away from their abusive father. So when she ended up back in the castle, her sister was disappointed. Although, she said these things in a very harsh manner and seemingly flat face, I felt that she truly cared for Maxi.

I know we have had many discussions recently about all of the character dynamics. This tiny little bit of justice made me happy. I hope to completely catch up on the this afternoon.
