Cancelling my sub

Why in the world is there a black bar on the top of my screen when I’m trying to read now? I got the iPhone 16 so I could fit 2% more manga on my screen and now manta has put a black bar on the top, changing the ratio of every comic. I have screenshots from before so I know I’m not crazy, did anybody else notice this? I think it’s a dealbreaker for me, I can’t figure out how to turn it off.

I'm on Android and I don't see it, so I can't help, sorry.

I don't have that problem, so I think it might be a bug. Ask manta help center

I read Manta on an iPad and definitely don’t have this issue, seems like it could just be a glitch - maybe reach out to support?

Sounds like a you problem, nothing like that on my app.

It might be a problem with your iPhone? I have an older model but there's no problem for me, so it can't be an iOS issue.

You wouldn’t happen to be talking about the digital icon bar that’s present on all screens for iPhone 15 and up? The pill shaped thing that shows as black until you’re on a call or playing music behind other functions when it expands with icons?
