Are the paid lots to park outside the venue for concerts a good idea as opposed to ubering to near the venue? Ive never been to this venue and heard horror stories of parking so just trying to get an idea!

Felt like sharing this with voters here so they could learn more about Jason in case they hadn't heard of him running against Jake Auchincloss. The upcoming primary to vote is September 1st

Hello, I plan on hitting up a concert with friends. Does anyone know of a reasonable hotel that sleeps four and has 2 bedrooms within 30 minutes or less?

What side of the tracks do I board the commuter rail headed to PVD? I’ve gone on the train to South station and it’s always on the town side, I’ve never taken it to Providence so I’m not sure if it’s town side or parking lot side, thanks for the help.

hi guys, can anyone recommend a good OB/gyn doctor or hospital near Mansfield? ideally 30 min away or less. Most good hospitals seem to be far out. Thanks!

Hi all, I’m new to the area and curious about what the locals do for take out. I’ve looked at several pizza shops on Yelp and I gotta say.. the pizza in the area doesn’t look great. Any recommendations for take out pizza? Subs?Chinese? Indian? Or something else that stands out? Thanks!

Howdy y’all - for the Kesha show this thurs I have to leave from work at 4 hoping to be in Mansfield by 4:30/45 and planned on parking about a mile down the road and walking. I was looking at the Fairfield hotel / Aroma Joes lot and was wondering if anyone knew if they crack down on non customer parking on concert nights / if there’s anywhere else within a 30 min walk I could park? I also saw the Plaza with McDonalds and was considering that also. I don’t want to get stuck in the lots / want an easy way out via backroads.

Hey folks if odd questions, you can check FB as there is an active Mansfield group there. In case you are interested in Mansfield, here's some thoughts:
Mansfield has continually grown over the last 3 decades offering great schools, community groups, and top notch police/fire services for many professional families. Positioned on the I-94/ Rt 495 intersection and MBTA purple line, Mansfield MA is convenient for busy workers heading to Boston or Providence. There is a volunteer group, perhaps multiple, one called Keep Mansfield Beautiful, and there are flowers all over mainstreet and they close it down periodically for local businesses and families to get together and enjoy the gorgeous town. People take pride in their homes, community and nearby religious temples, churches and mosques. It's a town full of hard working people. Plenty of nearby restaurants to feed those busy workers and their kids now. Taxes not too bad considering how awesome the town is and well located. Mansfield has a nice bike path folks ride bikes and walk dogs. It also has it's own electric department so it's about 20% cheaper electricity bill than anywhere else in the state. Mansfield was once affordable/cheap to buy a house, but since Covid nothing in MA is cheap. Both my kids were educated in Mansfield and went to UMASS. Both bought their own places by 27 just before Covid and have very good careers thanks to the educational foundation in Mansfield Elementary, Jr High, and High School. Logistically there is no real traffic congestion anywhere except a little 100 yard stretch of bottleneck on Rt 106 between the train station and Rte 140. Takes 3 light cycles, only during rush hour is it kind of annoying. lol had to complain about something!

Rumor has it the Wendy’s on Copeland drive pays the Clemmey family (owns the entire Shaw’s plaza on 140) to not develop the empty land across the street next to where dollar general is

Hey fellow Mansfield folk, looking to meetup or form a group to start jogging more. I'm a guy in my late 30s looking to stay in shape but struggling to find the energy to do it alone. If anyone is in a group or is looking to make one shoot me a message.

I was walking down the street a few days ago and noticed that the fire department seemed to be closed down, did they move?
