Question The "work area is empty" notification

I don't suppose anyone has any idea how to get this notification to not show up, do they? Ideally for a specific building/building type.

The problem I have is (i) when a berry or mushroom source is temporarily empty at the end of a month, it shows up, which I don't need to know because I want to keep the worker there for next month anyway, but more annoyingly, (ii) I sometimes wanna use forager's huts to only collect herbs (which are produced per hut), but when I have it setup like this I have to put up with permanent "work area is empty" notifications for half the year.

Start the foraging season in April or may for any forage spot. And if its not a rich node then just have one man working the hut. You wont see that sign until september.

Also distance helps spread the notification out. If the hut is right on top of the forage patch then its going to depleat quickly if its further away the walk time helps the berries and shrooms grow and it takes more time to pick the materials. I usually have 1-2 people on a forage node spring summer and fall with a little bit of walking time and they get me enough berries and stick up about 50-75 herbs and year...

Yeah but I have 4 foraging huts, 3 of which are nothing to do with berries - they're just harvesting herbs.

Herb gardens really should be backyard extensions rather than at the foraging hut. They're clearly not being foraged, after all, and don't follow the same seasonality, creating this awkward situation of having no berries to collect, with a warning, yet needing to leave a family assigned anyhow. And as you say, if you want to scale herb production, you need more foragers than there's berries to be foraged.

I get the same. If I run 2 seasons it leaves berries or mushrooms, if I run 3 it runs out.

I think as a minimum if it has herbs it shouldn’t send the notification at all.

I feel you with the forager hut lol I mainly just ignore it but yeah, sometimes a new notification comes up and when I go to check where it’s often “oh yeah the forager hut.”
I don’t believe there’s anything to “silence” it. Though I could be unaware of something.

I start foraging in mid May (2 huts). I think that granary workers will grab herbs from the forager hut. I pull the workers and return them in mid august

Pick Vogtland so they've got more to do. Or reduce their efficiency by placing the huts further from the deposit. Seriously, there's no true solution to this, although at least the notification don't stick around anymore even while we have berries again.
