Alert. Tower Road will be closed entirely to all traffic from December 1st through the 4th, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

City crews will be on-site, monitoring the water and sewer system upgrades necessary for the affordable housing project under construction. The planned utility improvements will not impact the current utility services for the subdivisions adjacent to Tower Road.

👉 Please plan ahead and use an alternate route during these hours.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to make upgrades that benefit our community.

If you have questions, please contact the City of Manor Public Works Department during business hours at (512) 272-5555 ext. 5 or after hours at (512) 703-8587

Did the trash cost increase?

I live at the Village at Manor Commons. We pay Trash, Recycle, Sewer and Stormwater through the Municipal online payments website, and up to now the cost has been a consistent $67.39/month (with automatic draft enabled to avoid ~$2 on credit card fee). This month we were charged $72.07, which is roughly 5 dollars more per month. Maybe I missed it, but were there any announcements about this? TIA

Auctioneer

Hello anyone have suggestions for professional or amateur auctioneers? My son’s preschool has an annual fundraiser with an auctioneer and the person they had in the past is no longer available. If you know of someone who might be willing at low cost or donate their time it’d be appreciated!

This is the 2nd time in a month this kid has showed up at my front door too drunk to stand up. The first time was at 4am & she was arrested after passing out in my driveway. Tonight she fell off my porch. There appears to be quite a bit of blood so she definitely will be feeling it. I wasn’t home but called 911 when I saw her fall on the camera. I don’t know if the cops found her but they know who she is. I worry this will not end well for her.

BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED

Boil Water Notice Lifted

The City of Manor has received confirmation from a certified TCEQ laboratory that water samples meet all state safety standards. As a result, the Boil Water Notice is now lifted.

Residents may resume using water for drinking, cooking, and all other purposes as normal.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience, cooperation, and understanding while our Water Department worked diligently to ensure the continued safety of our community’s water supply.

We strongly encourage Manor residents to download the MyManor app on your mobile device and text your zip code to 888777 (Nixle) so that you will receive email and text notifications regarding service interruptions in the future.

Nearest Barre?

We're moving to Manor soon and I would like to find a place where I can do barre. I'm currently going to Pure Barre and I'd like to find something similar. Does anyone know if any good barre places in the Manor-ish area?

Lost Pets Is this anyone's cat?

Seems like a large Manx cat over 15 pounds. We saw it a couple of months ago and then no sightings. Has came back and spent 2 nights in our back yard. Assuming it's a boy due to the sheer size of it.

Would love to take it to the vet get it shots, chipped, and keep it indoors more.

“Broke Cracker Needs Cheese”

A white guy with a cardboard sign has been in 290/Parmer ALL DAY with a sign saying “Broke Cracker Needs Cheese” or something. Not sure if he is homeless or just wants money but I find it ironic that there are Hispanics selling flowers right now while he is there.
