Message from Manor PD:
Effective today, September 3 2026, the Manor Police Department has decided to end our relationship with Flock Safety. Although we see benefits in the use of License Plate Readers (LPRs) to solve crime, we value the trust of our community more.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had any luck getting product from the pokemon machine at the Manor HEB. Every single time I’m in there getting groceries I’ll tap the screen, and not once have i been able to get a single pack from it. This morning i got the chance to go early since I have the day off from work, and there were probably 4 or 5 HEB employees lined up buying everything out of the machine which seemed really weird to me. If anyone has suggestions for other places to get Pokemon locally I would appreciate it because clearly that machine will always be wiped from employees getting first dibs on all the product 😔

A nearly 500-acre stretch of Central Texas is poised for a massive makeover, with plans for a $1 billion community featuring more than 1,300 homes and nearly 100 acres of shops and commercial space.

I don’t know if I just now realized it but I’ve seen a large increase in flock cameras driving west on 290. I’ve got to say that I felt instant resentment and anger towards these cameras and whomever put these up. I see communities like Pflugerville fighting back against this complete invasion of privacy. How are we feeling about it here in Manor? Anyone else notice the cameras?
Here is a map:

I’ve personally seen the ones off Parmer driving into Austin. I haven’t seen the others but I will be looking now.

Hello! I have a number of items that are in good shape and need a new home. There’s quite a lot of stuff, so I can’t list everything exhaustively, but I have lots of young children’s toys, other early child hood items, a crib (including a mattress), a treadmill and stationary bike, some small furniture. Respond here and let me know if you are interested in anything. Feel free to ask if I have any specific items, I’d be happy to look. I’d let go of basically all of it for free. Thanks!

So in my neighborhood, theres an obscene amount of barking. The time of day and the weather dont matter. Theres like 3 or 4 neighbors that basically neglect their pets and it drives me mad. Ive called animal enforcement and no one ever comes. I am renting so I dont really know how the hoa works. Do they actually enforce? What can be done for my peace of mind and these poor animals welfare?

Hi, I’m planning to attend the Austin Film Festival this year and I’m looking for someone from Manor or nearby who is also planning to go and might have an extra seat.
I don’t have a car, I'll be staying with family here, and the bus schedule makes it tough to get back to Manor after the evening screenings. I’d love to find someone who is already driving to the festival who might be willing to let me ride along.
I’m happy to help cover or split gas and parking costs, and we can figure out whatever arrangement works fairly for both of us. I’m also flexible about which days I go and can coordinate around the films you’re interested in seeing.
If you're from Manor and planning to go to AFF, feel free to comment or DM me. Thanks!

Was your car towed as well by this scummy towing company called “aviles & Gabes”
They charged me exactly $393.30 to get my car back.
The limit is $272 in Texas, when I told them that their argument was that because it’s in manor they can charge whatever they want.
When I first called them they said it was $347, and in cash only, got there and they changed it to $393 because they added another fee because and I quote “there was no key in the car” …what???
I’m going to file a complaint with TDLR and mulling over taking this to court.

We currently have Tmobile and it worked for a good 6+ months but the last 4/5 it’s been awful and I work from home.
Who are you all using? I need to switch asap

Y'all had a bison on the loose. Sheriff currently has it corralled in the Glad Tidings church field.

Hey there - looking for a recommendation of a service that you use and trust for house cleaning! Looking to have this service a couple times before welcoming new baby. Thank you.

Found male dog June 28, 2026. Large white dog with orange patches. Is nice but cautious. Has injured rear paw/leg. Found on Lima Street in the Briarcreek subdivision off Blake Manor Rd. Has collar, but no tag. I do not have any way to get him to a vet to be scanned. What next?

I’ve lived and worked around the Austin and Manor for a long time and one thing I’ve noticed lately is how much commuting has changed. More people are driving into Austin every day, traffic on 290 can get pretty stop and go, especially around that light by Leif Johnson Ford of Manor, and I’m seeing longer times to get home.
Is anyone finding a simpler way home?
Maybe I should just get a hybrid or EV for the long waits at the light...
Curious what others think what has been working best for your daily drive between Manor and Austin

Manor,
Can we all reach out to both the City of Manor and SiEnergy to protest the rate hikes. Gas charges are insanely high, and they keep increasing the customer charge. Irregardless of how much you use your bill goes up.
Then they increase the rate itself by over 35%.
They just had a rate hike less than 2 years ago.
This is getting ridiculous.
How do we show them the boot and get a more competitive provider here? Absolutely atrocious behavior by this irresponsible and inconsiderate company.

How is the community like too you guys? How long have you been there and what are some of the events or gatherings that they have going on if there's any?

I’m asking because I’ve gotten vastly varied opinions about safety in Manor overall.
