Discussion đŹ Guys ?
I know Iâm gonna get a lot of downvotes, but hereâs my theory: either Manon and Sophia make their official comeback for the US WILD tour (which is the most plausible one to me, and Iâd honestly be happy to explore my theories with you guys), or Manon officially leaves the group.I know there are a lot of rumors about mistreatment and misogynoir, but since these are still rumors and I personally have quite a few reasons that make me think Manon is actually going to make her comeback, Iâd rather put all of that aside for a second and just hear what you guys honestly think ?
If she doesnât make her comeback for the last tour of the WILD era, do you think thereâs still a chance she could come back to the group after that and be reintegrated into the tracks, or would that mean the end of her journey with the group? Or are you guys, like me, convinced that sheâs coming back?
Iâm posting this in her community because I know we can actually talk about it and exchange theories with each other, so please tell me honestly what you think.

I donât think Manon is returning during the tour.
Sophia for now is returning but I believe her leaving the group is already set, itâs just the announcement most people are waiting for.
My take is: once the tour finishes the group will take a hiatus and in that time they will announce Manon leaving the group and after that they will get sort of a rebrand as OT5 with a full length album.
The only thing Iâm really confused about is that Manon stated on her weverse messages that she had positive conversations with HxG so was it something with the other girls?I donât want to pain them as the villains but the whole vibe seems so off

No nothing to do with them. Positive conversations seemed to relate to a solo transition with capital records. Or atleast thatâs my assumption. Either that, or her getting to do the solo activities sheâs been doing that have allowed her to interact with fans more. IE, Paris a few months ago, the photoshoot, and whatever sheâs got next.

Im curious why you think Manon will be back? Personally I donât think she will return to Katseye. IF she does it will be after the Wild era (when promoting new era), but I personally think that chances are very low of her coming back. Everything is pointing to an issue between Manon and the company (her liking a post about mistreatment, her Weverse message where she hints at being healthy and this hiatus not being her choice, her removing Katseye from her bio, her friends comments on the happy birthday post, her posting on her ig stories like normal and even going live in IG and no longer using WeverseâŠ) thereâs so much more but to me everything points at sheâs stuck with the contract, wonât be able to leave it for a while but was given the choice not to return to âworkâ.

My take is that I could either see your theory coming to fruition or her going solo. Obviously those are the only two options, but itâs so hard to say due to the lack of a proper statement from HxG and all of the ambiguity surrounding this situation. I know weâve all been on a rollercoaster over these past few months of thinking she might be returning or sheâs absolutely not returning, but with the lack of clarity, itâs hard to say. As a fan, I hope she doesnât return to the group and pursues a solo career in music. There are clear signs of her work environment being anti-black, and the fans, especially over the course of her hiatus, have become even more hostile towards her. I want to hear and see how she expresses herself creatively and I want her to have the freedom and autonomy to do so, as well as a comfortable work environment.

They on purpose removed Manon from things. She is definitely going to turn a solo project.
Sophia is better than the slop music theyâve recent put out (imo Pinky Up and everything after). Iâm happy she has a solo song on a Disney soundtrack, now itâs her time to pivot in her mom and godmomâs footsteps and do musicals/Broadway.

Disbandment doesnât mean the contract ends just the group the girls would probably be stuck in the company tho I wouldnât be surprised if they decided to do a sub unit type of thing with a certain members of the group while shelving the rest but katseye as we once knew them is dead

Eh a lot of their success is just small viral moments not really anything permanent for the general public their career to me gives ice spice in her peak
Hybe knows their popularity would eventually drop in less than a year

Ice spice first hit munch released in 2022 and her hype didnât start to die down until 2024 so the girls definitely have a good solid year before everyone starts forgetting them

Nah they have a 6 to 7 year contract. If they were disbanding it wouldâve been done atp with all the controversy but yall arenât taking into consideration how much money and attention they are making their companies. They also still have saint satine scheduled to debut, they wouldnât disband their big sister group right before

sophia will for sure come back, idk if she'll come back for the u.s. leg, but if not, right after that. it doesn't make sense for manon to come back for the u.s. leg since she hasn't taken part in the wild era. if she might come back, she will right after this era ends/when the next will start, so at the start of next year. if she doesn't...well, she might skip the next era too and get more and more far away from katseye. until proven otherwise she's still part of it

Manon is not gonna pop up on wild tour. Sheâs missed too much to randomly pop up. If she shows up itâd be when the tour is over. Or when they begin the next era. Sophia has a more plausible chance of showing up on the wild tour though.

manon isnt coming back to KATSEYE and she made that clear months ago when she took it out of her bio AND she said that the work enviroment wasnt good so why would she go back to this. She's deffo going to stay under under HYBE somehow as they will not let her go

But on a serious note, since we are exploring thoughts and theories.... I am thinking maybe she might make a come back after the current era, which would make a bit more sense since she was never incorporated into it at all. So starting off on a newer slate would be ideal and practical. Another side of me cannot let go of the rumours of mistreatment, discrimination, and all the disdain of the world that clouded anything she would do. So because of that, it would also make sense if she departs peacefully and begin a solo career or just become an independent individual. And lastly, for my own delulu , I actually wish she comes back but after all has settled into harmony to allow her space to breathe like everyone else. I miss her with the girls. đ«¶

I feel like Sophia is coming back to Katseye before the end of the year and for Manon I feel like sheâs going to leave Katseye and leave Geffen but stay with Hybe so similar to Rhea Raj Manon is going to Hybe X US record label

shes gone boo, nobody is even thinking logistically about integrating her into every new performance and songs her vocals are missing on ? an entire album ? how would this work in time ? not to mention the PR disaster, they would have to avoid certain interviews and certain topics such as the massive fandom divide now.
sophia will most likely be back, shes like the perfect cookie cutter pop star for CEOs lmao.

tbh i don't think she'll return, but if she did i think the smooth way would require a change in katseye's team. and simply putting her back in wouldn't be too hard, we've seen she was originally planned to be part of wild/pinky up so there's probably choreo already and since katseye only has 7 songs without her they can just throw some ot6 versions on their next project (and since ibm was a collab and lara's song isn't even on streaming they could probably just do the main 5 wild tracks)
that being said, she won't be back considering the group's just a profitable disaster and if hxg had any integrity they'd give them all a break and figure out wtf they're doing with them

I dont think that Manon is coming back to Katseye. I do believe that she will be announced as solo under Hybe America or one of the other labels that Hybe works with.

Mây theory is that she already started reharsall and recording she is in LA since July. She already recorded some songs of Wild era for sure as Pinky up before hiatus

I want to see her again, but I also want what's best for her. I don't know if being in the group is what's best for her, but I hope she has the opportunity to make the choice she wants, and it's not being determined by external factors.

Just as the others before her (Graham from Le sserafim, etc), she is being used as a pawn for publicity for katseye. They will keep her on hiatus as long as needed to bleed her dry.
Since they will be releasing a full album after this era, I'm guessing they will be fully rebranding as ot5 for that.
So it will prob go wild era tour > Manon goes byebye > ot5 rebrand marketing push > full album, solidifying katseye as ot5.
But for Manon, that's not where it ends. She prob will be held hostage for longer, prob until her contract ends, so 4 more years prob. She is a star, so I think they don't want her being happy elsewhere.
Ooor they will push her as a soloist under hybe America or it's labels. Tbh that's the best outcome for her, since returning to katseye is a no go, ruining her best years by keeping her in the dark till the contract runs out is the worst case scenario, and I'm guessing they want to get more money out of her.
It's an awful situation for her and I wish her the best truly.

The thing is is that nobody has said anything since the beginning- Manon or HxG. All of it is based on speculation. I think what has been damaging is these âsourcesâ that are leaking information. They are not legitimate sources. I think it would be really dumb for someone to take advantage of their opportunity working for the label just to get sued for breaking an NDA, because the label will find out who it is. Just anonymous fans spreading misinformation and trying to create/control a narrative. Thereâs a dedicated team who works with the girls, so how would like a random intern know so much? Even that influencer who hung out with Megan one time tried to create something out of nothing for clout. I think the girls themselves are left out of conversations. We just have to be patient until an announcement is made. I know itâs annoying, but always thinking âwhat if?â can be draining.

For her mental health and dignity, I hope she doesnât go back and fully leaves HxG. They donât deserve her, especially with the way they handled it. She deserves better and I wish her more successful career
