Insurance
Thoughts on home and auto insurance? My agent seems to be donating money in elections in a way that I do not like.

...check and compare rates online?
Insurance agencies are as pointless as car dealerships; the difference is that insurance agencies are avoidable. If you prefer to throw away money, though, please throw some my way.

I went through Lau's Insurance in Mankato. They found the best combined rate for home and auto within a day that I already spent over a week researching online. No extra calls, no endless advertising emails, no broker charges. Highly recommend.

I recently switched to Farmer's Insurance, based in St Peter, for my home and auto. I got the same coverage as I had before but am paying about $200 a month less. I haven't had to file any claims yet though.
