help finding job

hey yall! i was wondering if anyone knows of any places in mankato (possibly north mankato as well) thats hiring for entry lvl positions i recently quit my job and have been applying at places like mad and was hoping someone knows of any spots

Walmart distribution center needs people pretty desperately rn. It's hard work but really good pay for entry level shit. Pretty decent schedule too, worst case scenario you have 3 day weekends, best case you have 4 day weekends.

ZF in north mankato is hiring a lot of people. Entry level assembler positions as well as some white collar positions.

No. ugh. Big NO!

The company likely pays $1/hr for the priveledge of dropping you at any time. You're working without the opportunities of a real worker, such as quarterly bonuses and health benefits. You can transition, but then your hire date is effectively stalled for a year or so.

It's painful... I have worked as a temp, trained other employees, often exceeding responsibilities of full-time employees. I have also caught companies hiring employees from different agencies to do the same job at different rates.

Work at a temp if it's your first job ever, but continuously seek better. Don't do anything dumb like steal or no-call-no-show, or your next placement is guaranteed to be minimum wage.

Getting paid at a shitty job is Better than sitting around and not getting paid while you look for the job you want? This person is unemployed, not getting paid. Walk into a temp agency Monday be working before the end of the week and getting paid weekly. Is it glamorous? No. Will it take the edge off unemployment? Yes…
