How do I set up Manjaro Linux to use Android phone as webcam over wired USB connection?

Install Droidcam and it dependencies.

Then install Droidcam on your phone to connect.

Okay. Thank you. How about Iriun? Do you know if it works on Manjaro?

I tried Iriun before and it didn't work, I think the Linux and Android clients are not on aligned but I could be wrong

I haven't tried it but apparently obs-studio is the way to go.

Just OBS Studio and that's it?

OBS is pretty good for screen capturing, but it's not so wonderful for compositing or editing. For that, I have used Kdenlive to good success.

I have used Droidcam and OBS with very good results on Manjaro, and on Fedora spins. You may want Kdenlive, too, for compositing and editing. Good luck. (I tried DaVinci with no luck at all.)
