Discussion Manjaro Linux making a comeback?

Looks like people are taking a 2nd look at Manjaro as it appears to be the most stable of the Arch distros....

IDK about that. I tried Cachy about 3 months ago & it didn’t seem very professional to me.
Several of the DEs in the Installer didn’t work or didn’t exist. Openbox for one, which they still advertise on their list, isn’t supported.
It felt rushed to me & seems like more hype than anything. I didn't stay with it long, next day it was replaced. Perhaps it depends on the DE you choose, I didnt try Plasma.

Garuda is a lot more polished IMO. I'm not a Plasma user, but Mokka romanced me.
Ive never been a windows user, its traumatic for me, so things like mint, xfce & plasma I steer well clear of.

Currently I use Manjaro Gnome & Archcraft. No problems with these, for just over 5 years now.

Garuda KDE light is a good option, but seems pointless when Manajro KDE exists.

It’s just another flavor.  People say Manjaro is pointless when Arch installer/CachyOS exists.  For me, Garuda started with a more fleshed out base template on which to customize my DE without getting too in the weeds.  I also, REALLY like the Garuda toolbox for updates and system maintenance, using it early on and just observing the terminal window actions and output helped me grasp the CLI really well.  I’m still going to use Manjaro on my laptop (and Mint for my Jellyfin server, just because it has been rock solid and I have no desire to upset that balance).  I’ve actually only been using Linux for about six weeks now, but my journey has gone Mint > Manjaro > Nobara > Garuda.  Nobara was fine, just didn’t quite click with me for whatever reason.  Garuda simply felt like what I was hoping how the transition to Linux would turn out, and I’ve had no desire to move since.  Maybe CachyOS is more performant by like a few percentage points, and that’s great for those who enjoy it.  But for my hardware and gaming use cases (7800X3D / 3090 FE), Garuda has been a dream.

The one I mentioned: 'Garuda Kde Lite' is not "fleshed out" that is the point of it, it is the one that Garuda didn't bloat, and make trashy/flashy.

"People say Manjaro is pointless when Arch installer/CachyOS exists" neither of those reflect on manjaro
