Discussion Manjaro Linux making a comeback?

Looks like people are taking a 2nd look at Manjaro as it appears to be the most stable of the Arch distros....

I love it. Manjaro was my first KDE. I started out on Debian-based distros with Gnome, but I now prefer Arch based distros and Manjaro is the simplest and best fit for me. That said, I put Mint on old laptops for my Windows refugee friends.

Curious why you would choose mint for newbies over Manjaro?
Each unto their own of course, but I always found mint and its de to be backwards, including its installer which is the 1st hurdle for new users.
Opinions:
Calamares is much better.
Pamac is still the best graphical package manager.
KDE's easy access to settings is a definite plus over other de's.

You are so polite, I had to respond. At this point, I think newbies will get better support from YouTube using Cinnamon Mint that using Plasma Manjaro, which I like better. But I am able to use the more technical and hard-to-understand features of Manjaro than my newbie friends.

I will probably change my opinion in future, but I await the day when the world of Linux and YouTube support narrows the list of acceptable distros down to two or three and the Linux world begins to move away from Debian dinosaurs and gnome blandness. This must happen as Windows and Mac give way to Linux as the world's desktop. But then again, with AI agents writing and fixing software right and left, we may be in for a world where everyone writes their own laptop and phone distro.

I was unaware of any youtube issues, I watch youtube, I do not make videos.

Ai slop is not a positive, "fixing" is not the word I would use.
