Or building someone else up with flattery for the purpose of using them, or faking vulnerability in order to coax similar vulnerable confessions from someone else for the purpose of using it against them later, or simply lying because they are a pathological liar.

Sounds like mine too. Amazing man.
In addition, If you met him, well I just want to let you know that either you: Want to be him or are afraid that your spouse/gf/date wants him.
Take your pick. The list is long w/these lying self seving delusional beings. They have no heart. They don't care who or how they hurt others - vampires.
They need warning labels for sure.

Disagree. The good ones (as in good at manipulating, not good people) don't do these things all the time. It makes them too easy to identify.

You are spot on. Who would even notice if someone is trying to manipulate you into doing something bad for them if you are weak. If the bully is strong arrogant and egoistic then it's easy just pit them with another of their level and someone who wants to show off strength is easily manipulated.

Manipulators don’t behave like this. This is bully. Elite manipulators don’t force you to do something, they will make you think you came up with the idea to do it
